We were really impressed with the cabin. It is a beautiful home and a really nice piece of property. The driveway is a little sketchy due to being washed out by heavy rains and needs some tlc. Other than that, really enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose this property again, if available.
We had a great time and really enjoyed the fireplace!

This cabin suited our need, but be ware of location. They don’t tell you that it is located up a one way dirt road on the edge of the mountain, literally. Once you get up there the driveway is like a drop off with major ruts and pot holes. You MUST have 4 wheel drive. Luckily we did. I just feel that needing 4 wheel drive should be included in the listing.
Beautiful cozy cabin!! Would definitely recommend arriving before dark like other guest have mentioned along with being prepared to travel on a very rough pathway to the cabin. Once at the cabin, everything was just as described but better in person! Our family enjoyed our stay!!
We loved the cabin and area! Cabin was very well appointed. Had everything we needed. Loved the decor. Loved the hot tub! Road up mountain to cabin could use a little work.
My family and I stayed at this property for a couple of nights while we visited area attractions such as the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival, Brasstown Bald and Helen. The cabin was beautiful, clean and had all of the amenities we desired. We would definitely stay here again.

Steep driveway
It was almost impossible to get in and out of steep driveway. The wi fi network was unsecure and the water has a lot of iron in it so it has a smell. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is decently stocked.
Me and my wife enjoyed this property so much! Beautiful looks of a cabin with modern and update kitchen and bathroom. Hot tub was nice the pool table was a great extra! Wifi was great plus the large fireplace and smart Tvs were a plus! Great location close to town and many outdoor activities! Would definitely stay here again!
I have stayed in a bunch of different cabins in that area and have to say it is the best. Beautiful cabin, beautiful view and great caring hosts. Always on top of everything and well stocked. Stayed there for 8 nights and loved it. Thanks for a wonderful vacation

The cabin is very nice and furnished quite nicely. However, there are several negatives. The VRBO listing states - Hot Tub and Pool Table. The hot tub is unusable due to the water which has an extremely high iron content. The hot tub looks dirty (I know it's not) and smells horrible. The water is not drinkable and makes your skin stink when you shower. There is a pool table but no pool cues. The "driveway" to the cabin is very steep and deeply rutted. If you don't have a high clearance vehicle, you will have issues. If it were to rain, I doubt you would be able to get up the hill.
Enjoyed the overall experience and setting of the cabin. Only issues were the upper main bedroom had only a curtain for privacy and the iron in water was very high. Everything else was as described. Nice, secluded and great views!!!

Absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. The cabin was very clean and beautiful. The host was also good with communicating with us and answering any questions we had. It was definitely a place we would stay at again. Only issue was getting to the place so just follow the directions the host sends and not what Google Maps says. Be cautious of the short dirt road but it is totally worth it. It was so peaceful and quiet up there. Highly recommend.
Had to move properties. But property manager handled Hot tub was not working
Stay was great. New property had great hot tub. A few things on priority should be taken that were minor but overalll very nice

First before I wrote this review, Robbyn was very helpful and nice to deal with which we very much appreciated so this review is not against her, only a fair and honest review of the property as is. The hot tub should be removed from the property until such a time as they fix the "iron" problem which is more likely to be the pump head in the well is simply to close to the bottom and picks up the silt, which then is put into the hot tub. The training support g the hot tub is very questionable and seems unsafe. They did come drain the tub and cleaned it for us which we appreciated very much, but with in a few hours the seats and sides of the hot tub was caked with nasty muddy silt. To put it simply the hot tub is NOT usable at this property. A few other disappointing things about the cabin was, no fire wood for the wood burning fireplace ( we stayed 3 nights and I had to buy firewood at ingles in town, no vegetable peeler and no caulk for the pool sticks which made playing pool aggravating and we gave up on playing. Such a simple thing to make sure there's caulk so you can actually use the pool table. Overall the cabin itself is nice but I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here until they fix these issues. The biggest one being the nasty water problem. I hope this review at least informs whomever may be thinking of staying of what you'll be dealing with renting this property.
The location is great, close to many things. There were several annoying things such as a missing remote upstairs, downstairs tv had no sound and a light was left on behind a locked door that I can only assume leads to the house's downstairs area. Our biggest concern were several cleaning issues. If these situations are cleared up we would definitely stay there again.
Very quiet and picturesque. All the modern conveniences. Updated decor. The dirt road up to the place was not in good shape. The property manager Robynn came up and looked for herself and I'm sure it'll be taken care of. She was excellent in responding to any and all inquiries.
August 2023 excellent cabin would suggest that instructions for running TV and appliances be put in a folder as everyone who visits may not be familiar with the new conveniences we enjoyed playing pool and watching the Roko TV the road immediately down to the cabin is very steep could use some grading overall excellent cabin location and people left everything clean
This is the second year we booked through this particular company-last year, the location we rented was switched at the last minute-didn't receive the address or access code until 1 hour prior to check in. Thought was odd but went with the flow... This year.... our reservation was cancelled one hour before our 9 day stay...the company did offer an alternative location, however, not comparable or pet friendly like I had booked. And certainly not as 'nice" as the online pictures showed. The company did give us a full refund however, we had to make snap reservations at a different location and cost us more money, (last minute reservations) and a LOT of stress for a vacation that was supposed to be stress free.
Property was great and everything it showed to be online. Driveway a little rough but my car made it ok still. Cleanliness was not as good as it could have been. Jelly still left on fridge walls that i wiped up and black beard shavings in bathroom sink upstairs (my man is a red head so no black shavings from us that's for sure) and under table and under bar area once chairs were pulled out to sit in there was lots of chips crumbs, etc. under those areas that hadn't been cleaned and the bathroom rubs didn't look freshly washed but other than that the property was amazing and we LOVED it. Would definitely recommend it and stay there again. Beautiful cabin and the property manager was very nice and accommodating when we asked for early check in time. Absolutely great property overall!

Thank you for the honest review. We truly appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve. We're glad Bear Claw met your needs and hope to see you again.
Great cabin with all the furnishings plus a hot tub, pool table, and outdoor grill. As advertised in the pics so it’s as nice and spacious as you’d expect. Be mindful the road up to the cabin is gravel and fairly steep with sharp turns and the driveway is very steep and also gravel. If it’s wet this may require some 4 wheel drive. The only issue we had is some of the cabin needed a more thorough cleaning. Some towels still had tags and were dusty as if they had never been used or washed. The shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the showers were partially or completely out of some things. Some of the dishes were still wet when we arrived so they were washed but we re washed them anyhow. Otherwise it’s a great place and was a lot of fun for the entire family. Even went out and explored the woods nearby with a small creek.
The cabin was super clean and nice, all of the toiletries were folded into cute little flowers and a lot of thought went into the presentation. However the property was not easy to find even with directions from the lister. If you put the address into Google maps you need to take the little dirt road that is before the one it tells you to take and then a left at the fork and it’s the first cabin you come to, even though it doesn’t look like it, the pictures are taken of the front side and down hill whereas the car will be up hill and on the backside of the cabin, and definitely need an suv or truck to make it up parts of the driveway, it’s not in rough shape, just Steep and narrow. The water also smelled of sulfur which wasn’t a huge deal and expected with well water. The location was only 5 minutes away from a dollar general so it was easy to pick up little things and the 30 minute drive into Helen was gorgeous. This really was an absolutely lovely weekend.

4WD VEHICLE NEEDED. ARRIVE BEFORE DARK.
No 911 address or cabin name that we could find on property.
Cabin interior was clean and well stocked. Bed, linens, pillows are comfortable. WiFi and TV were very good. Large sofa needs rep!aced, cushions deeply sag, uncomfortable.
Exterior of property is neglected, decking showing bare boards, mildew. Yard is over grown around parking area. No path to the front door.
The road is in terrible condition. While the owner/host probably isn't responsible for the state of the road, they should make sure the property description is accurate regarding access to the property. The road really needs a lot of work, For now i recommend a 4WD vehicle. The condition of the road kept us from leaving the cabin as much as we had planned and keot friends from stopping by to visit for an afternoon.
I loved our stay - the cabin was spacious and modern, yet cozy all at the same time. Everything worked nicely with lots of amenities. Great close location to the hiking trails, vineyards, and grocery store. Very clean too.

Why Do You Need A Buyer's Agent? First of All Having a Buyer's Agent Does Not Add to your Cost. The seller along with the seller's agent pays the buyer's agent fee. Many buyers mistakenly believe they would get a better deal if they do not use a buyer's agent. They assume that since the seller has to pay the agent a commission, they would be willing to pass those savings on to the buyer if they do not use an agent. This is NOT true. In fact, seller's agents charge the same price regardless of whether or not you use an agent.
Here are a few things a buyer's agent does:
Helps you through the negotiating process. This is probably the most important part of having an agent represent you. The agent working for the builder or seller has one job and that is to sell you a home – maximizing the profits for their seller. You have to understand everything you're signing including addendums to the contract, possible delays, what would happen if your current home doesn't sell, etc. The most important thing to remember is that a buyer's agent helps walk you through everything step by step and works FOR YOU, not the seller. Makes sure you don't overpay for a home. If you buy your home directly from the seller's agent they are only looking out for the seller's interests. A buyer's agent will provide you with valuable comparable properties and five you their opinion of the value. Much, much more! A buyer's agent is a valuable asset to any home purchase and should never be considered an unnecessary part of the process.
Respectfully, Robbyn Allen Realtor/Property Manage
