Perfectly located, just a short 15 minutes from historic Hendersonville, North Carolina and 25 minutes from the cosmopolitan charm of Greenville, South Carolina our cabins are nestled in one of only two known Kingdoms within the United States. Kingdom of the Happy Land has been a place of peace since the end of the Civil War.

Fox Run Cabin is a new fully appointed Log Cabin home complete with the feel of a rustic mountain get away coupled with the conveniences of modern life. The cabin is seamlessly situated adjacent to our small concord vineyard and 170 acres of our farm and 33,000 acres of the Greenville watershed preserve. From the front porch of Fox Run Cabin , the Palmetto Trail is a mere three hundred yards away.

Our farm contains a full working vineyard and hemp project. We have worked tirelessly to preserve the integrity of this rare property and are pleased to share with you the joys which accompany this tranquil acreage.

Whether you are an avid outdoors enthusiast or you just want a break with a good book on our back porch, Fox Run Cabin is an opportunity you do not want to miss. We are surrounded by wildlife of all kinds and enjoy the quite atmosphere afforded by the Kingdom.

Fox Run has all you will need for a comfortable stay: fully appointed kitchen, bath, King Size Bed first floor and twin trundle in the loft. Keurig coffee maker, fully stocked wine bar, grill and picnic area and many other quality features.

Tranquility in today’s world is at a premium. We offer tranquility coupled with comfort. The property is gated and secure, the trails are open for exploration and we invite you to take a step back in time with us and celebrate life and freedom. Your Kingdom experience awaits….

We provide one complimentary bottle of wine with more available you can purchase. There is a Keurig coffee pot and fully stocked dishes (starter set of 6). Also, there is an option for us to stock the kitchen with some groceries for the cost + 25% fee. You will have a gas grill and a picnic area for your personal use.

We allow small dogs and there is a designated smoking area OUTSIDE the cabin - no smoking indoors.

The rates are $199 during the week and $239 on weekends.

Peaceful unique charming getaway

We are a family of 4 and wanted to get out of the heat and into the mountains. This little cabin set on an isolated hill overlooking a vineyard couldn’t have been more unique. The cabin was small yet well laid out providing room for all 4 of us. The bedroom reminded me of a yacht cabin with builtins and just enough room for a queen bed- great firm mattress. A loft above cozily fit our 10 and 14 year old for our 3 night stay. The bathroom had high quality towels and plenty of them with high end toiletries should we have needed. The kitchen was well equipped for me to cook a hearty breakfast one morning. We never had the chance to use the outdoor charcoal patio which overlooked the vineyard and hemp farm below. We brought our beloved dog who was befriended by the vineyard dog Chase each morning. The owner stocked our fridge with fresh eggs. We took a mile or so hike around the property, but next time we aim to take the Palmetto trail access which was super convenient. It’s nice not to have to drive to hike. We are so excited to have found this truly unique place that was only 20 minutes from a few places we wanted or needed to visit including Saluda, the Gorge Zipline, Tryon equestrian center and we also went a bit further to Sierra Nevada one day. We will definitely be back!
