Welcome to Modern Mountain, a brand new vacation home designed with our guests in mind space located on a quiet street less than one mile from Downtown Clayton. Modern Mountain has amazing Mountain View’s from just about all spaces in the home, including while soaking your cares away in our brand new 6 person hot tub.

As you enter our brand new modern mountain home you will be greeted by lots of natural light & Mountain View’s in our open concept main space. The kitchen, dining and living room has that open floor plan that makes traveling with friends and family even more special. Our kitchen is well equipped with everything you could ever need for cooking that simple or elaborate vacation meal. Kitchen has dish and silverware for 8+, along with plastic ware for outdoor dining, and kids dishes for all our families. Brand new stainless steel appliances, a coffee bar stocked with coffee, assorted creamers and sugar. A hot water electric tea kettle and assorted teas, wine glasses and barware for all our mixologists. All the conveniences for those quick or plan ahead meals like an airfryer and crockpot. Lots of pots and pans to choose from along with bakeware, assorted spices and large sink and dishwasher allowing for easy cleanup.

The Living Room has a large comfy sectional with chaise along with two leather chairs, and space to relax and enjoy the view out the wall of windows, the wood burning fireplace on those cold nights, or some television on our large 65” tv. Board and card games available to enjoy as well for a vacay game night.

The Dining Area nestled between the kitchen and living room with built in dining bench, table and chairs is the perfect spot to be in the middle of all the action anytime of day.

Located on this first floor, zero step entry is the King Suite with attached bathroom with duel entrance from the hallway and into the King Suite. Luxurious 1800 thread count sheets, season appropriate bedding, room darkening shades, and sound machines in case you want to turn in early or sleep in later (it is vacation after all). This bedroom has a sitting area, Mountain View from bed, and large screen tv. Closet, dresser and storage cabinet are available for use. The adjoining bathroom is for use on the first floor but also adjoins the King Suite as an Ensuite. Simple, modern, beautiful and brand new bathroom with designer shower, lots of light, and plush towels. Shower dispenser with sulfate free shampoo, conditioner and body wash, a blowdryer and makeup wash clothes.

On this main entry floor is also a stackable washer and dryer available for use.

Upstairs you will find another 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. The first bedroom sleeps 4 with an L shaped Full, twin bed with additional twin size trundle. A large connect 4, PAC-Man arcade game for fun, wall mounted tv & of course that window Mountain View.

The third bedroom is located right next to the bathroom, and is a queen bedroom. This bedroom has luxurious bedding, chair for some quiet reading, and wall mounted tv.

The upstairs bathroom has a shower/tub combo, and is equipped just like downstairs, with plush towels, makeup wash clothes, a blowdryer, and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Here in the mountains though, we know it’s as much about the great outdoors as it is the comforts of the inside. As you make your way outside from kitchen/dining room you will be welcomed onto the deck by that Mountain View, along with a pretty amazing deck space. First is our long dining table perfect for those beautiful mountain morning coffee or for those dinner/bbq evenings, but when dinner is done, the table converts into an awesome game table with shuffleboard and bowling (cool, right?). Large propane BBQ grill is available for all those grill masters. The deck has also been expanded to make room for the new 6 person hot tub with lounger, 46 jets, and two fountains, the perfect place to sit, relax and breath in the fresh mountain air.

As you make your way off the deck onto the grass, we know you will love our Fire Pit, with surrounding swinging bench’s & chairs and Adirondack chairs. Perfect place for s’mores and stories or stargazing.

You will have access to the entire home, deck, backyard along with all the amenities.

Plenty of parking available, room for 4 cars in the driveway, no street parking is available or permitted.
