Towering Pines Condominium is a dog friendly(limit 1),1840 square foot, comfortably decorated vacation getaway located in the Old West town of Winthrop. Our getaway provides the perfect lodging accommodations for your Methow Valley adventure. At the south edge of Winthrop, it is an easy walk to the grocery store and other conveniences and a less than a five-minute drive (or short bike ride) to the ice rink and MVSTA ski/bike trail heads. For a more leisurely outing, just one more minute (or short walk/bike over the suspension bridge) and you are in town with access to all the cafes, restaurants, bookstore, and more.
On the main floor is a fully equipped kitchen with separate dining area. The cozy living room has a stone gas fireplace, a smart TV, with 2 leather couches. The dining room table has seating for 6, with additional seating at the kitchen bar counter, to provide ample comfortable space for your group and guests. A/C is available. A half bath is off the living room. There is 20 MB high speed internet for your personal use or for working remotely. A washer/dryer is off the kitchen.
This townhome has 3 fully-furnished bedrooms and 2 baths on the second floor. The master bedroom has a king bed, with A/C and private bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed; and the third, a twin, and bunk bed. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom, and also have A/C units.
Parking is available for 3 cars immediately in front of the unit. Access to the garage for secure bicycle or ski storage, and ski waxing is available upon request.
The home has puzzles and games galore. Also enjoy the Smart TV with several streaming apps logged in or bring your own log in info. There is a DVD player and some videos available for use as well as The Internet access includes wireless boosters for the upstairs. There is a Nintendo 64 in the twin room. There are boot dryers, clothes drying racks, ironing board/iron, and a baby gate.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT YEAR ROUND TRAVEL INFORMATION--READ BEFORE BOOKING A RESERVATION:
1)It is the responsibility of the guest to have travel plans in place to travel either over the North Cascades via Highway 20 OR to travel over Steven's Pass through Leavenworth OR to travel I-90 over Snoqualmie to Blewett Pass through Wenatchee and then up the Columbia river to the Methow Valley. If one route is closed, it is the YOUR responsibility to make alternate plans for travel. NO REFUNDS will be given at any time of the year simply because an alternate route must be taken and add additional travel time. Highway 20 is closed in the winter and mountain passes can be closed anytime of the year because of wildfires, rockslides or other occurrences. Directions over all the routes will be sent to. you 3 days before your arrival. Make sure to check pass reports(and they can change while you are en route) and print out the directions before you leave.
2)Trail Access/Closure Information:
If you are coming to hike, bike, or ski on a trail or system of trails which happen to be closed before or during your stay, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN because of this. Trail closures can occur anytime because of fire, rockslides, mud flows...and we have no control over this. There are many hiking, biking trails of various kinds in the Methow Valley. If access to the North Cascades is closed via Hwy 20 because of any reason, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN because of this. There beautiful hikes in and around our valley that we would be happy to recommend.
