Franks place was lovely and Frank was an excellent, responsive host.The only feedback was no one came to clean the pool or other amenities for the week we were there.
Enjoyed the unit and community. Lots of perks if you use them like community center and pool. condo is a little tired and kitchen isn't particularly well stocked if you plan on cooking. Frank is accomodating and helpfuil.

We always try to keep the place maintained and cleaned we just had the carpets and all the flooring and furniture steamed cleaned. I appreciate your comments and we’ll try to rectify anything that wasn’t up to what I would like if I stayed there.
Owner Mark was very responsive and did everything to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The house was very comfortable and well stocked, they was nothing we required that was not already in the house. The property was beautiful, well maintained and has two large pools and spa's which were usually very quiet.

This visit was made simple by good communication and having the manager of the property just across the street. We slept three kids and two adults comfortably… it has two larger beds and a foldout, we utilized the foldout and got no complaints. I would recommend it due to its location and ease of use but you will definitely want a rental car.
Our stay at Puerta Azul was excellent. It was close to our friends, close to Old Town LaQuinta and for visitors looking to attend Coachella or Stagecoach events it is a great location. Spacious home with a very well stocked kitchen and linens. We will return to this beautiful neighborhood.

This is the second year we have stayed at this home. There are so many reasons to love it - location, quietness of the beautifully manicured community, cleanliness, layout of the home. Owner is so responsive. Wonderful property manager.
Condo was perfect for our stay! Very serene and welcoming. Great location for Stagecoach and a real retreat from the long days! Mark and team were easy to work with and very accommodating!
The communication with property manager & owner was great. The unit is a bit tired but it’s a good value and location. It served our needs well for a week long stay.
Just right for my spouse, our married son, spouse and 1 year old. Great location. Well maintained and beautiful setting. Well stocked and helpful property manager. Recommend this place without hesitation!

Very happy with our stay at Mark’s house. Quiet, secluded, gated community with pools and spas under palm trees just steps from the house. Comfortable beds, linens and furnishings, including a kitchen that had everything needed. Mark and onsite manager Frank were easy to work with and thorough. Without hesitation we are looking forward to another stay.
A great location. Our overall impression is that the unit is getting tired. Whilst there was adequate utensils all were well used, kitchen cabinets also pretty beat up. Drawers were untidy. The bed sheets were quite thin and worn through. The towels were also quite old. We did enjoy the gas fireplace and the layout of the unit.
We were not traveling for fun as there is a global pandemic happening, but we did need to visit family, so staying home was not an option. The house was clean and as advertised. There was actually much more space in the rooms than I thought from the photos. The main area is quite large and furniture is sparse, which is good for a rental. We have 4 teens and planned to split them between the bedroom and the den but one claimed the bedroom, one took the couch in the "den," one took the couch in the living room, and the last took the armchair/ottoman as their bed. They were all happy the whole time, so do with that what you will. The pool is very close to this unit. We were there during "winter" so we were the only ones at the pool but it was quite nice. While the unit was very clean, it is worn and dingy in some areas and could desperately use some updates. But it was clean, had everything we needed, and communication was easy. We would definitely stay again!
The condo was exactly as advertised, with nice high ceilings and a large kitchen with everything needed to cook in. The beds were comfortable, the extra sitting room was a bonus. The community was very well maintained, with two beautiful salt-water pools. Couldn't have asked for a better month-long stay. There is a garage with the unit, but our Ford Explorer was too large for the space. We had no trouble using the parking spots on the street, though. Highly recommend this rental!
The unit has a nice layout, but we found it farther away from the places we frequent to be a place where we would. We have friends who often stay a mile away and prefer LA Quinta.

Just for clarity this property is located in the La Quinta off Madison.
The home has a very spacious and open floor plan with plenty of room for our family of five. The master even had a pack n play for our toddler which helped greatly. As well as a few kids games and toys. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat at home each day, with the exception of a coffee maker. There is only a Kuereg machine. Just a tip for fellow coffee lovers who travel with their own beans like we do, you’ll need to bring your grinder and pour over or French press. The home was very comfortable for us and the beds were comfortable. The property manager was very responsive to our needs and questions. We’d love to come back again and have recommended the home to our other friends and family. Until next time Puerta Azul, we loved our relaxing resort-like stay and pool time!

I am a particular individual. I like nice things and want things that way when I vacation. With that said I maintain the property in great condition, clean and high quality linens and towels as that is what I would want.
Why they chose this property
Perfectly located very close to the fair grounds and nestled in among PGA West. I love the desert and this small community of Puerta Azul. It has the feel of a quiet well maintained resort with a fabulous large club house that includes good cardio work out equipment with flat screen t.v. workout machine, billards, large screen t.v., tables for a larger gathering. Also there is a wonderful putting green, tennis court and bocci ball lawn. Two large pools one is set up specifically as a lap pool maintained a bit cooler.
The location is great near the polo grounds, many golf courses, and old La Quinta. The community is very quiet and safe.
Puerta Azul was built in 2005 so everything is newer. When I go there it is truly a relaxing experience and I came home refreshed. A little bit of paradise out in the desert.
What makes this property unique
I enjoy hanging out at the house turning on some nice music or reading a book in my private back yard turning on the fire pit and relaxing on a beautiful evening. Golf at Silverrock and Classic or many other choices. Going to Fantasy Springs casino for a show and some gaming. Having dinner at Old Town La Quinta and strolling the old town on a nice evening. Hiking the trials. Much more....
