The neighborhood surrounding Bamboo Bungalow in Sarasota offers a quiet, family-friendly atmosphere with easy access to outdoor activities and major attractions. Just a few blocks from Legacy Trail, visitors can enjoy biking, running, and walking along this scenic trail that stretches through Sarasota, connecting to downtown and other key areas. The home is conveniently located near Siesta Key Beach, Downtown Sarasota, and cultural hubs like the Ringling Museum and Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, offering easy access to some of the area’s top tourist spots.



Getting Around:

Getting around the area is convenient and accessible. Legacy Trail, located nearby, provides an excellent route for biking and walking, connecting you to various parts of Sarasota. If you're heading to popular spots, Siesta Key Beach is just a short drive away, while Downtown Sarasota is easily accessible for dining, shopping, and cultural attractions. Public transportation options are available, but having a car is recommended for exploring the broader Sarasota area, including nearby beaches and parks.



Other Things to Note:

• Check-in Form: Prior to arrival, guests will be required to complete a check-in form through our Guest App. No download is required.

• Grill: This is a charcoal grill, and guests will need to bring their own charcoal and fire starters. We recommend picking these up ahead of time so you can make the most of your stay. We kindly ask that the grill be cleaned and covered after use to keep it ready for the next guests.

• Pool: Please note the pool is not heated, but it's available year-round for guest use.

• Quiet Hours: The neighborhood is peaceful, and we ask that you respect quiet hours, particularly around the pool area, to maintain a calm environment for both you and our neighbors

• Please don’t wear shoes in the house.

• Only guests listed on the reservation may stay at the property.

• Smoking incurs a $250-fine.

• A minimum $150 fee will apply for damaged furniture, rugs, or other property

• An additional $75–$200 cleaning fee may apply for excessive stain, pet hair, or odors.


Pet Fee

• A non-refundable fee of $71/pet per stay applies

• Any pet-related damage or excessive cleaning may result in additional charges



Pet Limitations:

• Maximum of 2 dogs (please check with the host if you plan to bring more than 2 pets or any other animals)

• No aggressive breeds

• Pets must be fully house-trained



Furniture Policy

• Pets are not allowed on furniture, including beds and couches

• Please bring proper pet bedding — no makeshift blankets or shared beds



Cleaning & Damage

• A minimum $150 fee will apply for damaged furniture, rugs, or other property

• An additional $75–$200 cleaning fee may apply for excessive pet hair, odors, or stains



Supervision

• Pets must not be left unattended unless safely crated

• Crates are not provided by the host



Outdoor Areas

• All pet waste must be cleaned up and disposed of properly

• Pets must be leashed or under direct control at all times



Noise & Disturbance

• Excessive barking or disturbances may result in guest removal without refund



Liability

• Guests assume full responsibility for their pets

• Host/owner is not liable for pet-related incidents or injuries
