Perfect for slowing down and unwinding, you'll be just five miles from Usery Mountain Regional Park with its fantastic hiking and mountain biking trails, within 15 miles of Goldfield Ghost Town, Lost Dutchman Park, Saguaro Lake, the Cubs Spring Training Center, Casino Arizona, and Salt River Tubing, and only 20 miles from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, the Desert Botanical Gardens, and the Phoenix Zoo. Additional destinations located a short drive away include Scottsdale's Desert Entertainment Area and the Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum. Downtown Mesa and Tempe offer multiple dining and shopping opportunities. And don't forget to pack your clubs, as several golf courses are found throughout the area.

Lack of cleanliness and privacy

We were very excited to stay at this location with a hot tub and pool. We went to check out the hot tub to find the cover barely intact but still wanted to get in as well as sit up there around the fire pit. We left and when we came back a few hours later someone had come and barricaded and used caution tape completely blocking our way to use this area. We were very confused as to why this happened after we had checked in. The pool floater had no chlorine in it and the pool looked like it was not usable. Also a package arrived while we were there only to find that once again someone had come while we were staying to get it while we were out. This place was okay but there were definite cleaning and privacy issues.

Great location for hiking the desert

This property was an authentic charming replication of SW Desert adobe. But it needs some serious upgrades. It is kind of rundown.

Disappointing...no heat, front door knob kept coming off, dirt road to get to the property, no area road lights, old smelling, old furniture and antiquated
