The Vogel Nest is ideally situated to many attractions. The cottage is beautifully furnished and equipped for a peaceful, restful stay! We love to ride the rail trail and can easily access the trail from there. We love to visit nearby Colton State Park. It is easy to get to restaurants and Wellsboro attractions. We cannot say enough good things about the hosts!

We had a wonderful time at the Vogel Nest. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Great location. Everything we needed was there. Didn’t need any contact with the host. Thank you for a beautiful place to stay while in Wellsboro.

The house was very clean, modern and decorated very nicely. Easy access to the trail just across the street. We enjoyed the fire pit. Also relaxing on the front porch was a plus to unwind from a long day of biking. We met James and what a great guy. We would definitely recommend this place for a great relaxing time!

The cottage is very nice and comfortable! It's well kept and perfectly stocked. Bed is very comfortable and the bedroom is nicely furnished. The hosts were very attentive and we enjoyed chatting with them.

Lovely little one bedroom / one bath cottage with Pine Creek Rail Trail access across the street. The front porch was a wonderful addition to our trip on a rainy day. Clean and comfortable. We stayed for 3 days in July 2026.

Cute little cottage! Perfect to celebrate our Anniversary. Kitchen appears to be fully stocked though we opted to eat out. Couldn't ask for better hosts.The only change or addition would be that hand rails on the porch and in the shower would be helpful to some.

Vogel's Nest has always been our favorite place to stay when we only come as a couple. It has a beautiful view of the mountains and excellent access to the trail. The property is immaculate and easy to access. There is no better place to stay for a couple.

The cottage was very clean. It is a charming and comfortable cottage, it truly felt like home away from home. Sitting on the porch swing and listening to the birds and peeper frogs was so relaxing. Beautiful location. Hosts are very quick to respond and are absolutely wonderful people.Definitely a gem and one we plan to revisit!
