About this property
Large house that sleeps 10 on 15 acres near Heritage Rail Trails, Glen Rock, PA
Forget your worries in this spacious and serene setting.
Turn up the quarter mile long private driveway to discover a modern, 3,000 sq ft. home nestled on 15 mostly wooded acres. Enjoy expansive views of the surrounding farmland from the nearly 900 sq ft deck. Watch the starry night sky while keeping warm around the fire pit on the patio. A large flat lawn is perfect for the kids to play games. Spend time hiking around the property, or you can bring your bike and make use of the Heritage Rail Trail, which can be accessed directly across the street from the driveway entrance.
The main floor includes a large eat-in kitchen with granite countertops. The fully stocked kitchen includes every supply you could possibly need including a Keurig Coffee Maker. Off the kitchen, is a traditional dining room. The large living room includes multiple seating areas and a 46” TV with a DVD player (Amazon Fire Stick is available but guests must use their own log in). The house is stocked with movies, books, and games to provide entertainment. There is also a half bath with a hidden laundry area on this floor. *Note- There are no bedrooms located on the main floor.
The second floor includes three bedrooms that can accommodate 8 people. The main bedroom includes a king size bed and ensuite bathroom with a shower and separate large soaking tub. The second bedroom includes one king bed and the third bedroom includes two queen beds. There is a newly renovated bathroom on this floor as well. All three bedrooms include light blocking curtains.
The finished basement provides plenty of space to hang out including a seating area and another full bathroom. Some fun things in the basement include an air hockey table, small karaoke machine, and a 32” TV ready to be connected to your gaming console. The doors in the basement lead to the patio which includes a fire pit and seating. There are lawn games available such as croquet and horseshoes. The basement provides an additional fourth small, interior bedroom that includes a queen size bed.
Includes Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher, Central Air, all bed linens, and bath towels. No pets allowed. No smoking anywhere on the 15 acre property.
Due to the remote location of the property, the Internet is DSL and therefore runs a slow.
Conveniently located only 10 minutes from exit 4 on 1-83. York is a 30-minute drive and downtown Baltimore is 40 minutes away.
