I gave this place a 4 start because the location and view were AMAZING!! The house was very clean and it was comfortable to walk around without shoes (which is always the test). The check in was strange and not correctly communicated from "Nancy's". If you park a car when you arrive you cannot use the elevator and have to carry your luggage outside and up numerous flights of stairs. Fine, but would have been nice to have the proper instructions prior to arriving. We would have gone to get the key and FOB and come back for the luggage. No pool/spa, the ones in some of the photos are the condos next door, not this building. The communication with "Nancy's" was a different person each time, it was a little over the top with calling often and asking for payment prior to the due dates. It's clear this is a large company using off shore customer service people, a bit of disconnect. Kitchen was fully stocked, TV's and all items worked great. Balcony and the view was the best part. I would not stay here without the AC.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the amazing location and view, found the home clean and comfortable, and appreciated the fully stocked kitchen. We’d also like to clarify that the listing clearly states that the unit does not have centralized AC. We do offer a portable AC option for guests who would like additional cooling during their stay. Regarding check-in and parking, our Guest Portal provides detailed instructions for accessing the building, parking, elevator, and unit, and our team is always happy to assist if guests need clarification or help navigating the instructions. We appreciate your feedback and looking forward to hosting you again soon.

Entertaining views of the dogs who frolic on beach every morning

The location was perfect. We had a gorgeous view of the bay. The unit was exactly as pictured. We appreciate all of the care we received. Management quickly responded with someone who figured out what we were doing wrong when using the Spectrum cable. The unit was spectacular and extremely clean. San Diego was a real treat. Hope to come back again.

Best Bay Watch Ever

We always stay on the other side of the Bay in a little cove off El Carmel across from the rowing club and have observed all the activity in the larger part of the Bay so booked a condo on the other side. Joey's RIviera Villa was the perfect location...property management team goes overboard to make sure access to the property is easy, they provide carts to help move your belongings to your condo, there's a secure elevator and the garage is completely secure as well. The condo was comfortable, had plenty of amenities, very clean, the view spectacular! Will go back again in a heartbeat.

Best VRBO Ever

This was our favorite stay of all VRBOs! The location was impeccable - right on the bay with incredible views, people watching of activities, sunsets, etc. The weather was 75-78 degrees most days, so we opted for the portable AC unit in the bedroom and were glad we did. It would have been manageable without it, but we like to sleep cold. Property management was very responsive. The bed was ultra comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom stocked with towels; it was fantastic. Only thing we didn’t need to pay for was the pack n play, because it turns out there was already one in the closet. Overall great stay!!

Excellent location and spacious ... but.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent! It was generally quite clean; there were exceptions. The property owner is doing a poor job of maintainance: window shades, bathroom doors, bathroom light switches, paint touch-up, entertainment cable routing . The "electric grill" is Mickey Mouse!

Crew Classic weekend in Pacific Beach

Awesome location, walkable to many attractions & restaurants. Beautiful view of the Mission Bay beach from the 2nd floor patio. Recently remodeled unit is very comfortable with new kitchen, and garage parking was a plus. Check-in late at night was a little challenging. All the necessary information was contained in my orientation package, but attempting to follow printed instructions, locate lock boxes & keypads in a new-to-me place late at night made the check-in process less than 5-stars. The property management company (Nancy's Vacation Rentals) was very responsive when the unit's electronic door lock failed late Friday night. Their team managed the problem and ensured my stay was minimally impacted. I will absolutely be renting from NVR on my next stay in San Diego.

Beautiful condo, great locations for families

We stayed here for 4 nights in San Diego. Easily accessible to everything in San Diego. Best part was early morning runs around the Bay, quiet not overly crowded and absolutely beautiful watching boats and water skiers on the bay. The kids did not go in the water but played on the beach with volleyball nets. Even barbecued and smores one night on the beach with charcoal grill that was available for our use. Condo well equipped with beach supplies including chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas. Thank you!!!! A few small items to address with the condo when first arrived, the staff was super helpful and addressed that same day. Great place for families, exceptional attentive service for whatever you need. Paddle board, kayak rentals and other equipment available just few hundred feet down the bay, very convenient for teenagers.
