Perfect Lake Vacation!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home on Crescent Lake! When we weren’t inside this cozy, inviting house, we were kayaking, canoeing, paddling and floating on this beautiful, peaceful lake. The house had everything we could need all the way around. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, a well supplied kitchen, a wonderful deck with awning and a big lawn which was great for playing with the dog! It’s a lovely private location with a nice lakefront area with easy access to the water. The views are fantastic and there was plenty of outdoor seating with lots of chairs on the deck, dock and lawn. In the evening, we played board games at the table at night which looks out the big front windows on to the lake. There are huge windows looking out on to the lake all across the front of the house! Stephanie was great to talk to and made sure to connect with us to chat and answer any questions. A very inviting home for sure! We had a wonderful, restful, serene week and highly recommend this house!

A bird-watcher’s paradise!

Beautiful, peaceful, mini “nature reserve”. The house was super-clean, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Beds were very comfortable. Deck was perfect size, overlooking the sprawling backyard, dock and lake. We sat out, sunning, on the dock nearly every day of our stay. Highly recommend “Sunnyside” for a low-key, “away-from-it-all” kind of vacation!

Great week on the lake

My wife & I along with our 2 grown kids had a relaxing week on Crescent Lake. Stephanie was very helpful, accessible and resourceful the one time we needed a hand with something. The home was clean, the yard is great for kids & for dogs. Also, we loved the big back deck & the fire pit near the lake. 👍👍👍

Wonderful getaway

Came with my daughter’s family (kids 3 and 7). The parents “worked from home” while I entertained the kids. It was perfect. So much to do...hikes, biking on the quiet rode, yard games, indoor games. But the highlight is definitely the waterfront. 3 year old had no problem being in the water. Many selections for watercraft...paddle board, paddle boat , canoe, kayak. We enjoyed them all. House also extremely well equipped and stocked with fool staples , games, throws for the couches, etc. Many thoughtful touches. My personal favorite was a quiet Morning cup of coffee on the deck, looking out at the lake. I would definitely recommend for someone looking for a vacation that both had a lot of activities available, yet was very peaceful.

Never a Bad Day at the Lake!

Our family had a GREAT time in Unity, NH at Lake Crescent! Sunnyside was the perfect fit for our family as it was very clean, properly stocked and has an amazing view of the lake. Our family enjoyed all kinds of water activities including canoeing, kayaking, fishing, paddle boating and more! Would definitely recommend to all interested parties looking to live up the lake life!

PARADISE! The Best of the Great Outdoors Lakeside in New Hamshire. We love “Sunnyside”.

There are a few timeless experiences when it comes to family summer vacation and this is one of them. Being on the lake, watching the adventures unfold before your eyes in your children with all of nature there for the taking. This is far superior to the busy campground scene and all of the preparation that comes with that. We could see the kids easily even from inside the house. We had all the comforts of home in a quintessential cottage setting. The kids never tired of the outdoors and slept soundly after all the fresh air and physical activity. Great to get away from it all for a whole week! Also, great fishing for the kids and adults. Thank you for sharing your lakehouse with our family it is a true treasure.

Beautiful lakeside escape.

I was completely satisfied with our family trip to this wonderful location. We were looking for just this kind of place for our family trip at the lake. It takes time finding the perfect place to reunite, unwind, and reconnect. Our children are grown and starting families of their own so we wanted something special for everyone. We like to really be on vacation away from our busy individual schedules, traffic, work routines and all of the noise. This property has it all. Driving in the kids were excited by the dirt road through the NH woods and glimpses of the lake. At the end of the road is the house and it opens up to an amazing view of the lake. We felt right at home from that moment on. Everything was relaxed and easy inside and out. We loved the character of the cottage on the lake with the pine wood and openness of the interior. Lots and lots of windows for views of the lake and wilderness. There was so much to do here that we found ourselves pleasantly occupied swimming, boating, fishing, blueberry picking, exploring the woods and the water. Sunapee Adventure Park was one day trip we did and the kids were thrilled.

Beautiful spot on Crescent Lake NH. Excellent all around.

The place was perfect for our family trip. Outfitted with everything one could hope for in a lakeside cottage. This property is located on a dead end road which gave us total privacy and zero traffic. Very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views of the lake and landscape both inside the house and out. The smell of the pine and water and campfire brought me back to my childhood trip with my family growing up. Our children were busy from morning till night playing near the sandy shore, swimming, fishing and exploring nature. We could see them from the house at all times which was a great feature of this property. The water was gorgeous, clear and weed free and the dock was great for swimming complete with a ladder at the end. Getting onto the water was easy with several boats on the shore ready for us to use. We were very luck to find Sunnyside!

What a find! What a lake! What a vacation!

If I sound enthusiastic it is because I have been renting lake homes for many years and this one by far was the best find ever! This is what it is all about when you want to get away from it all for a summer vacation with your family. There are few and far between places like this one left. The lake is just the right size so the kids can go exploring and you wont worry. Not big, loud, or busy like some of the more commercialized areas in NH. There are no tourist traps or outlet shopping and it is nice and quiet so you can enjoy the natural setting and truly be away from it all. Very refreshing. The house is charming and super clean, neat and comfortable. You never lose sight or sound of the lake while indoors because of the big windows and large deck. The owner made us welcome and even supplied us with campfire wood! Thoroughly recommend!

This lakeside home far exceeded our expectations!

The listing clearly described the property and the unique private location, large lakeside yard and character of the home and surrounding community. It was just what we wanted for our family summer vacation complete with board games and adirondack chairs circling the campfire. We were comfortable as soon as we arrived into the clean bright interior with lake cottage living. The kids absolutely had an amazing week. The owner was great and provided us with timely information to make our stay easy. Highly recommend SUNNYSIDE.

Great spot for a family reunion!

One of the best rentals we've had in years! Room for 2 couples and many and various children ---clean, well stocked, comfortable and welcoming and right on the water-- no need to pick up and go anywhere in order to have a great day. We ate almost every meal on the lovely sundeck overlooking the lake and spent nearly every night around the firepit at the edge of the lake, looking at the stars. There are a 4 boats available to use, a swim float and lots of toys...a perfect combination of activity and relaxing.We also went exploring and antiquing and blueberry picking and mountain climbing-- a true NH vacation! I hope we will be able to come back to this spot for years to come!

Great Lakefront Vacation Spot

My family and I stayed at Sunnyside for 3 nights end of June. It was everything we imagined. Beautiful home and great location. We particularly liked the full glass windows on the front the house that provided panoramic views of the lake from all locations. Big yard was great for our dog and very private. Kids loved fishing from the dock and feeding the family of ducks that visited us every morning and evening. Spent days canoeing, kayaking, paddle boating, and swimming out to dock platform. Enjoyed the fire pit every nigh toasting marshmallows and sharing stories. Stephanie was great to deal with. We will definitely be back!

Best Lake house vacation

This is truly the best family vacation spot we have ever found. For the past three years my wife and 3 girls have rented the house for a week each summer. The annual trip is always much anticipated and the kids are full of excitement for creating new family adventures. The house is very clean and well equipped. The open plan is airy and spacious, just what you want at the lake. My family could go anywhere, but we love the comfort and quit location we have found here. Most of our time is spent outside either on the dock fishing, swimming to the raft, boating or playing yard games. We love the big deck overlooking the yard and shore so we can always see what the girls are doing. At dusk, we love getting together to toast moshmellows at the campfire. But the best part of all is being together and making family memories in this beautiful setting.

The best vacations ever.

For the past three years my wife and 3 girls have rented the cottage. Their is always very exciting and new adventures. The cottage is always very clean and has so much space its the best vacation spot around. My family can go any place we like but after the comfort and quit location we will spend every summer here. We always catch fish of the dock every 4 minutes, go for walks, play badmitten, late night fire pit, sit out on the very large deck, and most of all enjoy each family memebers company.

Family oasis of fun and fond memories!

The cottage is so storybook with all the amenities and privacy to enjoy with the people you love the most. The kids had there own "BUNK" and are begging to return this summer. The fireplace was cozy and treaking across the lake to check out the ice fishing was so exciting and cool. Once there you don't have to leave or go anywhere, just unpack and enjoy!

Why they chose this property

My parents purchased SUNNYSIDE as a vacation home for our family in 1976. They were skiing enthusiasts and had been looking for a house in the area for years. Mom was in the lodge warming her toes and being the sociable sort got the lead on a Crescent Lake property.
Family time is quality time. Together, the family, away from the rush and routine of everyday life, can get back to the basics. Being together is special and so the story goes over the many years we live life at the lake.

What makes this property unique

We have lovingly cared to preserve this very special place over the years while we continuing to enjoy it with future generations.
