Welcome to Star Brook Gardens! Home of the Sunset Market, a seasonal farmer's market with produce, crafts, and more. Feel the fresh mountain breeze from the comfort of our front porch swing or rocking chair and enjoy the sights and sounds of the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway. Our property is located near Floyd, Meadows of Dan, Hillsville, and Stuart, and offers spectacular, well-maintained trails perfect for exploring. We are pleased to host your pet as well. Max 2 dogs, sorry NO cats.



The Space:

Take a walk down to the babbling brook and explore our herb garden before saying hello to our friendly chickens. Light the firepit and spend your evenings in the great outdoors. There’s nothing better than spending quality time with those who matter most in the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Come experience it all for yourself!



During the season, our property hosts The Sunset Market, offering locally grown produce, artisan crafts, baked goods, live music, food trucks, and community! Not to worry if you stay with us, the market hours are Friday and Saturday evenings starting around 3-4pm and close down around 8pm. All of the activities are on the other side of the creek, and only guests are allowed to pass through to the cottage. We hope you'll take a stroll down the driveway and enjoy the market, music and occasionally a concert or movie. We end the year in October with a special Halloween Event. It's loads of fun!



The Neighborhood:

Located in rural Meadows of Dan, Virginia, our cottage is less than a quarter mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. With lots of room to explore, we have trails, a creek, firepit and even an herb garden you can share. AND, be sure to meet our chickens.



Interaction with Guests:

You'll have access to the entire home and grounds on the far side of the creek. We have an RV on the property, out of site, but we are close if you need anything
