Renew yourselves in the tranquilizing atmosphere of this comfortably furnished bungalow. The Master Suite is privately located upstairs with it's own bathroom including a make up table.
You will find yourself surrounded by wildlife, church bells and the whistle of the steam train which is visible from the deck along with the picturesque Sande Cristo Mountains. Enjoy watching town street activities and grilling on the large deck off the fully equipped country kitchen. You have the view of downtown Cripple Creek. You will be walking distance to Casinos, Dinning and Shopping. Find hiking trails, ski slopes, hunting and fishing not far. Less than an hour from the Royal Gorge, River Rafting, Sky coasting and Zipline. There is always something happening in Cripple Creek from Donkey Derby Days, Rodeos at the Fair Grounds, The Ice Carvings, Music and street dances (google activities and listen to the street bands play from the deck)
Explore the town of Victor , tour and learn the mining history at Molly Kathleen Gold Mine and Museum. Enjoy live plays at Butte Theatre on Bennett Ave.
Whatever your pleasure, you will find this cozy mountain home to be the perfect get away.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please start washer on hot, using 2 pods, place all towels, wash clothes, kitchen towels/dish clothes in wash. Stripe all used beds. Clean up dog dodo load and start dish washer, take out all trash.
If heat is on, set temperature to 59 degrees. Close windows, turn lights off and lock doors upon leaving.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Only 1 dog allowed. Must kennel if left unattended. No breeds deemed as high-risk by insurance companies! Must clean up after your pet.

Charming house! We had 4 adults there and did some 2026 business planning! There was plenty of space! The kitchen and dining room area were so spacious and allowed for meals and snacking and working around the table perfectly! The family room was a nice calming space to relax and watch a movie or just sit around and chat! The beds and baths were super clean and comfortable! The grounds are perfect with a really nice back deck to step out on and enjoy the views and watch the deer! The host was very friendly and communicated extremely well! We didn’t have a single problem! We enjoyed our time there and would definitely book again! Thank you!!

A Home Away From Home

A great place to stay in Cripple Creek. It has everything we could have wanted or needed: Great kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and family room. The T.V. was terrific. Located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance from downtown and the narrow gage railroad. Close drive to fishing and hiking. For sure we will be guests in the future.

Awesome stay!

House was clean and perfect size for 2 adults and 2 children. The host was amazing with communication and helpful with suggestions on things to do! Wildlife in the area-had some friendly deer every morning! We would definitely stay again.

House was built about 1900 and is about 3 blocks for the main street of 'old town' (my term) Cripple Creek. Easy to get to good restaurants, museum and casinos. Great location.

Great views!

Not only was the house beautiful but the views from the hilltop were great. We loved watching the deer in the backyard. The home was comfortable and our host provided everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Simply wonderful, we had a great time. thank you so much. The views were spectacular. We loved hearing the train. There was nothing bad about this place. It was wonderful. In fact we will stay here again! The host was magnificent to deal with. Everything was perfect. I will say, if you’re older you should probably drive down to the casinos cause that hill going down is OK but coming up oh boy you’re in for it! But other than that great everything was great! We went on the train. We went on the museum tour of the jail. We went on a ghost tour and everything was phenomenal. Oh, and we did gamble! And came back winners!

We stay at this wonderful home over the Christmas holidays and had a blast!!! The home was so cozy and welcoming. I love to cook vs eating out every night and found the kitchen to be stocked with everything I needed to make a traditional Christmas meal. We woke up to see deer in the yard most mornings. I look forward to returning to this home again and again!!!!

Cute house close to "downtown" Cripple Creek

I have nothing bad to say about our stay. House is walking distance to the main drag in Cripple Creek (dining, museums, shopping and casinos). The house was clean and comfortable, and the owner is friendly and happy to help with any issues (we didn't have any, but we were given her personal number and told to call or text anytime if anything arose). I would stay here again, or recommend to friends/family without any hesitation.

Amazing House and Location

The house itself was beautiful. It had all the amenities that we needed. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal and the spacious table and island make it the perfect space to enjoy any meal. There are a lot of windows throughout the house, which allows you to see the wildlife. The house itself was not difficult to find and getting in was also easy. There is street parking that is conveniently located right in front of the house. The location is perfect. It's about a minute drive to dowtown and surrounding casinos. The host was very nice and communicated everything very well. Would definitely recommend this house for anyone staying at Cripple Creek.

I was born and raised in Colorado Springs. I spent a lot of time in these mountains. My dad had a cabin just outside of Cripple Creek near Wrights Reservoir and a sawmill in Fairplay. Many weekends and summers were spent dragging timber out, peeling lodge poles and cutting Christmas trees. I love the mountains, I love Cripple Creek and have many fond memories of the Donkey Derby Days.

Why they chose this property

My favorite uncle enjoyed this little house as his get away. He left it to me and I could not bare to part with it. I did some updates and turned it into a vacation rental as a way to afford the overhead of owning and be able to enjoy it with my family and friends. Cripple Creek is a fun place. There is always something going on in town to keep you entertained. I welcome you and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

This property is special because it sits up higher than most, has a huge sunny kitchen, Great view of the Sande Cristo Mountains, You can hear and see the steam train, listen to the bands play in the street from the deck. You can watch wild life come and go. It is walking distance to dining and the casinos. I love hearing the church bells ring. It is so peaceful and tranquil......It truly is "My Happy Place"!
