About this property

Private Hilltop Retreat, 10 Acres Near Bryce & Zion.

Hilltop Cabin perched atop a private hill with panoramic views and breathtaking sunsets, this 1,150 sq ft cabin sits on 10.85 acres of pure mountain wilderness — your own private slice of southern Utah. Step outside and let the view stop you in your tracks. Rolling terrain and open skies stretch as far as the eye can see, and every evening delivers a sunset display that never gets old.

Watch deer, elk, turkey, and wildlife wander across your land while you relax on the property. On cool evenings, gather around the fireplace inside or head out to the fire pit under a sky packed with stars. Pets are welcome too. This is the kind of place where phones get put down, deep breaths get taken, and everyone leaves already planning their return trip.

Less than an hour from both Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks, and just 20 minutes from Duck Creek Village, you're perfectly positioned to explore some of the most spectacular scenery in the American West — or do absolutely nothing at all. Whether you're chasing adventure or chasing sunsets, this is your basecamp.

The Space

The cabin sleeps 6 across two self-contained floors, each with its own private entrance — ideal for two couples or a group that wants their own space while sharing the experience together.

Upstairs you'll find the master bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with a full bed and daybed, a full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area, and a TV. The loft is accessed by a built-in ladder and sleeps two comfortably — cozy and fun, though may not be suitable for young children or anyone with mobility limitations.

Downstairs has its own private entrance and includes a bedroom with a full bed, a living area with sofa, a full bathroom, a laundry room, and a TV.

Please note the two floors have separate exterior entrances and are not connected inside. This layout works beautifully for groups, two couples, or families who want their own space while sharing the property.

Adventures at Your Doorstep

This cabin puts you in the heart of some of Utah's most stunning outdoor recreation. Hundreds of miles of ATV and snowmobile trails are accessible right from the area, making this a true four-season adventure destination. Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks are both less than an hour away, offering otherworldly hoodoos, world-famous slot canyons, and some of the best stargazing in the country. Panguitch Lake, known for world-renowned fishing, is also less than an hour away. Duck Creek Village is just 20 minutes down the road with dining, gear rentals, and access to Cedar Breaks National Monument. And you don't even have to leave the property to spot wildlife — deer, elk, turkey, and birds roam the land regularly.

Amenities

The cabin is fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Inside you'll find a fireplace, a fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, and TVs on both floors. Outside, the fire pit is perfect for cool mountain evenings under a star-filled sky. Pets are welcome. Parking is available on site, and exterior security cameras are located at the driveway entrance and parking area for your safety.

Good to Know

This is true wilderness — expect the sounds, sights, and occasional bugs that come with it. That's the point. The fire pit is available for use but please follow fire safety guidelines and never leave it unattended. Please respect quiet hours for neighboring cabin owners and drive slowly past neighboring cabins on the dirt road.

Come for the views. Stay for the sunsets. Leave already planning your next trip.

Beautiful peaceful location centered nicely between Bryce and Zion. Deer and hummingbirds all around. Home had everything listed, rooms were a nice size. Experienced sunrises and sunsets and amazing star viewing. Ladder to loft was fairly “steep”, but very secure. We had older kids so the loft was great. If you have younger kids there, there is a large bedroom and pullout couch on the main level. Owners were responsive when I had a question. If we come back this way, would stay again.

The space was fun and clean, plus in a great location between Zion and Bryce Canyon! It was a nice quiet area too. I enjoyed the loft and my brothers used the other two bedrooms. We grilled multiple nights, enjoyed hanging out playing games in the cabin and loved the view and the mule deer and humming birds. It was a great stay. The host was responsive to our questions. The wifi worked well for playing music in the cabin. The kitchen was very usable. Utah was lovely!!

Perfect getaway to check out Bryce Canyon and Zion. Loved that we could have our own space in the bottom unit with the dogs and my parents had the main cabin to themselves. Still plenty of space for us to hang out together. Cabin had everything we needed and the views were great!

A beautiful, quiet cabin with amazing views. Perfect for our family with older kids. Note if you have younger children, the master bedroom and bathroom has a separate entry that you cannot get to from the inside…could be scary at night! We also saw deer every day right outside our door. Great location, traveled to both Zion and Bryce National Parks and loved coming back each evening to this paradise!

Amazing

The cabin is very nice and perfect for a small groups getaway. For such a small looking cabin there was actually plenty of room. The only downside was having to walk outside in the cold to go downstairs but other than that it was perfect. Definitely would stay again.

Beautiful cabin and area

We loved staying at this cabin on the hill top. We would spend all day in Zion where the temperature was 90+, come back to the cabin and the temperature was always a cooler. The cabin is very beautiful with all the conveniences of home. Very quiet at night, it was a great stay.

Great cabin stay

The cabin was amazing for 2 couples, one with a baby and one with 2 dogs. The down stairs gave us a great space to separate while also having a great area to hang out upstairs. The views are nice and it’s a great place to spent time and fairly convenient for going to Zion and Bryce. The cabin was also very clean and had most of the things you needed to cook with.

We enjoyed 5 days in late November in this cabin. Summit means a little windy but cozy and warm inside. Everything you could reasonably need was provided. Bryce and Red Canyon are close with nice hikes. Location is perectperfe

Great stay!

This place is awesome! Would definitely book again. The place is quite spacious with the entire downstairs unit. I wasn't keen on climbing up into the top bedroom area but my partner spent a lot of time up there reading and lounging, so to each their own. The only issue was that the only pan was extremely dirty (had to scrub it for 10 mins to get it all out) and a lack of good cleaning products (no sponge and low quality dish soap), so I bought those on my own.

It would have been okay but there were 5 or so mouse traps in the kitchen. One had a mouse in it. Later that night a live mouse kept running behind the couch. We tried to trap it/catch it but were unsuccessful. We were planning on staying there 5 nights as our 'home away from home' so we brought food etc. We couldn't take anything out in kitchen, etc. because of the mouse/mice. We stayed one night but hard to sleep with mouse in your space. There were also a lot of dead bugs and wasps behind the beds in the loft area. That was kind of gross, and I hate wasps so that made me uncomfortable also. After that first night my husband called management and said they would refund us for the next 4vdays. I think we should be refunded for it all. Lodging in a place with mice is unacceptable...especially when you are paying a high price to have a space of your own.
