About this property

Lovely secluded cabin in Vermont's "Land of Lakes and Ponds"

Falls Cabin is a rustic hunting camp lovingly transformed into a beautiful, year-round vacation cabin retreat. Tucked in the woods alongside Kingsbury Brook's cascading falls, it is the perfect place to return to after a Vermont day outdoors, any time of year. The cabin has a large eat-in kitchen with a spiral staircase to the loft, a spacious living room with propane stove, two bedrooms each with internet TV and a full bathroom. The individual mini-split heat pumps in each room provide custom air conditioning in summer. In winter, enjoy the warmth of the propane stove in the living room in addition to the heat from the mini-split units.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the large back deck before heading out for your adventure, no matter what the season. Falls Cabin has direct access to VAST trail system for snowmobiling in winter and nearby access to VASA trails for 4-wheeling in summer. There are trails for mountain biking right from Falls Cabin and hiking trails are also nearby. Stowe, Smuggler's Notch and Bolton Valley ski areas are all one hour or less away. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, and swimming in one (or all) of the many lakes in Woodbury - Vermont's "land of lakes and ponds" as well as ice fishing in the winter. Relaxing around the firepit is a great way to end the day any time of year!

Bigger on the inside
Our kids loved the big, open main space. We’d definitely make staying here a priority next time we’re in the area.

Perfection!
This house was a wonderful place for our eclipse trip. We lounged in the living room playing games that were in the house. Had a lovely kitchen to prepare a real dinner in and a cozy eating area to enjoy. The kids loved the loft bedroom! I loved sitting outside having a cup of tea by the falls. The outhouse is a nice addition to only having one indoor bathroom. Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven with us!

So Welcoming And Warm
What a great little cabin. Warm light and cozy accommodations. The stream behind the cabin is really cool and I would love to come back in the summer. Really quiet and just beautiful woods and hills around a clean, rustic-modern cabin. Hosts were super easy to work and communicate with. Five stars all around!

LOVED IT
I celebrated my birthday in this beautiful cabin with my family and friends. It was perfect for 7 people. The house inside seems newly renovated, everything was very comfy, cozy, and clean, just what you need after a hike in Vermont. The house was very well-equipped. We cooked, listened to music and played games. We had a lot of snow (which I love) the next morning and the owner came in minutes and plowed the entrance. They were very nice and responsive. The house has a nice creek to stay and watched. We wished we have stayed more time. This place deserves more than 5 stars!

We only stayed 2 nights but could have stayed forever! Very private being tucked away in the woods. Owners have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable.
