A Fallen Leaf Lodge was commissioned by the owners to be a family resort legacy. The hand-crafted timber frame home is a legacy to be enjoyed by your family year after year. The old-world charm of the oil-rubbed massive timber frames and exposed trusses are complemented by artisan Italian veneer plaster. A Fallen Leaf Lodge comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests. The Lodge features hand-troweled designer cement floors with radiant heat, granite kitchen counters, professional appliances, wire-brushed eight-foot tall doors, hand-peened wrought iron accents, and a river rock fireplace. A Fallen Leaf Lodge is situated adjacent to the country store, marina, and the edge of the pristinely clear Fallen Leaf Lake -- with visibility more than 40 feet, and at the base of the 8,500-foot Cathedral Peak Mountain.

My family and I had a fantastic time. The home is beautiful and we made full use of it. I wish there had been more photos, becuase the existing ones dont to it justice. There's a game room downstairs, a movie theater for the kids, and plenty of bedrooms. My 3 year old LOVED the bunk bed suite, and insisted on sleeping in 3 of them. Just a great experience overall. The only note I'd give ti future renters is that internet access is not great, but that is true of the whole area...not just this house. We were able to eek out a couple last emails, but more than that would have been impossible. All the better to get outside.

Peaceful
We had an amazing stay at this lovely home. We had 8 staying there and we felt very comfortable and there was always a cozy corner to sneak off to. The views from every window are a postcard. Every bedroom is beautifully decorated and cozy

About the host
Hosted by Paul Bergeron
We are a family of six, albeit the children are much older now than in our memory picture above! Love the Lake and have throughly enjoyed the small community setting. No better place to let our children wander and explore nature than in this sleepy and tranquil mountain lake hide away.
Why they chose this property
The serene peaceful setting attracted our family to this tiny lakeside location.
What makes this property unique
Peace and quiet. Family. Small time community. Hiking just steps from my doorstep.
