Mule Deer Meadow offers some of the best mountain views in Tahoe with direct access to the National Forrest from the backyard. Conveniently located next to Lake Tahoe, Heavenly, and the Casino's (all less than 8 miles away). This brand new estate built in 2016 includes a blend of modern and rustic design and has mountain views from every room in the house. The open floor plan is ideal for large groups and includes a game room with pool table, wet bar, and sauna. This professionally furnished home provides the setting for lasting memories. At Mule Deer Meadow you are exactly where you need to be. VHR Permit #073478 TOT#T50079

MAXIMUM LEGAL OCCUPANCY:
*14 (Children 5 and under do not count)
You may not exceed the maximum occupancy of 14, not including children 5 and under.
*6 Cars (3 in garage, 3 on driveway). No street parking is allowed.

NOISE
*We love our neighbors and we can't have excessive noise at this house. If you are looking to make noise then please find a a more suitable location. The last thing we want to do is interrupt your vacation.
*South Lake Tahoe has highly enforced quiet hours of 10pm - 8am. Please do not make any noise outdoors during quiet hours. Hot tub use must end by 10pm.
*House is equipped with noise monitors that measure decibels only.

AIR CONDITONING
*We are in the 5% of homes with central air conditioning! The top two floors have AC. The lower floor does no have AC, however this floor is typically cooler.

PRIVATE Suite: Our house has a private third story suite that includes one bedroom and one bath. There is a separate entry to the private suite.

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL TRAVELERS TO PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE TO ENSURE PROTECTION IN THE EVENT YOU FEEL THE NEED TO CANCEL FOR ANY REASON.

Spotless, comfortable, and a fantastic host!This was hands-down one of the cleanest and easiest short-term rentals I've ever stayed at. I found myself commenting on it the whole trip. Chad was attentive and quick to respond whenever we had questions, which made the whole stay stress-free. The backyard was amazing, the beds were all super comfortable, and the sauna was a HUGE plus after a long day of hiking. Would absolutely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. We had 14 adults and two under two and found the place to be very spacious. The kitchen was adequately supplied for our needs and we found the beds and linens very comfortable. The only mention would be the stairs. It is a three level home so there were stairs to enter the property and then up to the kitchen and living area. The bedrooms were located throughout all levels. The price was great for the Lake Tahoe area. Would strongly recommend staying at this beautiful home.

Spacious, clean, beautiful mountain view. Nice trail that starts right next to the house. Well stocked with things you’d need. Close to South Lake Tahoe sights - recommend checking out Taylor Creek Visitor Center’s naturalist-led Rainbow Walks on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We enjoyed staying at this house!

Our family had a great 4th of July holiday at this house. All of the amenities working well, and the bathrooms and kitchen all looked newly renovated. Bedrooms were spacious with high quality beds and linen, and the house was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking and keeping the place clean.

The home is very well appointed, clean & comfortable. Our family trip with 10 people, had plenty of space, with room to spare. A large dining table inside & one on the balcony. A game room on the lower level was enjoyed, while others were outside in the clean hot tub. The property is surrounded by beauty, with mountain views & great trails to explore directly behind the home . It’s a great hike, if you want to see a breathtaking view of Fallen Leaf Lake & a peek of Lake Tahoe . Or you can make the drive up the narrow road . (Get directions)It’s a quick drive to the village activities , shops, restaurants, the gorgeous Lake Tahoe & anything else you may want or need. Chad is a wonderful host . Responds in a timely manner & is very helpful & informative. We highly recommend this fabulous home .

Chad was a communicative host and was easy to coordinate with. Our family really enjoyed staying at his property. The views were spectacular, the amenities great for unwinding, and the location was a short drive to the lake. The kitchen was large and was perfect for prepping meals for a large extended family. The double dishwasher was something we didn’t realize we needed, but was so convenient to have with so many people in one home. The same goes for the double washer dryer setup. The provided towels and linens were clean. I really appreciated how fluffy and nice the towels were. 2 suggestions to future guests: If you enjoy complete darkness and quiet when sleeping, bring a eye mask and earplugs/noise cancelling earbuds. The curtains don’t always block out the beautiful morning sunshine and the noise of people on the top floors tends to bounce down to the lower levels.100% would stay at this property again!

Everything about this property is top notch. Wonderful beds, sheets, towel, amenities. Plenty of dishes, glasses and cooking utinsils. Amazing experience

Great property for extended family vacation

We were a party of 20 (10kids under 10). We enjoyed the house, the nearby trails and the many activities in the S Lake Tahoe. The weather was awesome.

Perfect house for large groups.

We had a great time at this house. It was perfect for 3 families. Drive up the street was a little tough during the insane snow storm but nothing crazy. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home in fantastic location

The home was very clean and well maintained. Loved being able to hike from the house. Short drive to South Lake Tahoe. Owner was very easy to communicate with. Hope to stay at this beautiful home again next time we travel with a big group.
