Beautiful home located near great food, and not too far from the beach. The only issue we had was finding parking close by since there is no assigned parking. One night we had to park a block away and walk. Still a nice home to stay in!
The house was super cute and had the basic amenities for a weekly stay. The check-in was easy. We enjoyed the weekend fireworks and the proximity to downtown attractions, like the aquarium and the Queen Mary. It is a city location with street parking, so parking was challenging at times. We could consistently find a spot a few blocks away near Drake Park. Alberto was a responsive and accommodating host.
The little house is welcoming. It allows you to relax and live as you would at home. The house is well stocked, clean and well maintained - and has just about everything you need. The neighborhood is safe and welcoming. Your host, Albert is a considerate person who communicates well. We loved the little house and recommend it to anyone visiting Long Beach.
Relocating to area. Cute neighborhood. I was able to walk to beach. Found a fun breakfast place The Breakfast Bar on 70 Atlantic. It was easy to get to the highway too. Get stay all around. Alberto is a great host and quick to respond.

The overall stay was good. However, minor issues. But we made it work. Nice place. It was difficult getting in contact with the host when wanting to dicuss a few issues. I had a great time and was able to spend time with my grandchildren.

The guest was attempting to message me through a different platform which made it difficult to respond. The only issue was the guest didn’t know how to connect to WiFi which was resolved after we gave step by step instructions, not sure if the guest just wasn’t tech savvy. Second issue was the trash pickup is on Fridays and the housekeeper didn’t put the bins on the curb. The bins were not full according to the cleaners so we didn’t really see it as an issue. Aside from that the stay went smooth!
The cottage was beyond immaculate , super clean & smelled amazing . It was extremely well stocked , bedrooms, kitchen , & bathroom , had everything we needed plus ! It’s updated , with really nice decor . Very close to everywhere we needed to go . Owner was super kind and accommodating. The neighborhood is working class predominantly Hispanic, the people were very friendly and we felt safe . This cottage is well worth the price . Will use again !!!
Our only, but major complaint is there is no true parking. It's near downtown and parking is at a scarce premium if at all. Fortunately for me I only lived a couple of miles away & could park at home then Uber to the VRBO. But, that was an unexpected expense.

Thank you for your feedback. We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us and are happy to have had you as a guest. You’re absolutely right—parking can be a challenge throughout Long Beach, especially in the downtown area where we’re located. As noted in our listing, we’re just steps away from the convention center, great restaurants, and local attractions, which makes the area vibrant but sometimes tricky for parking. We hope the convenience of the location made up for it.

Parking is a nightmare and nasty smell in the front
Parking is a nightmare. Sometime you get lucky and are able to park fairly close. Other times you park blocks away. Not a safe looking nieghborhood to carrying bags blocks to and from your car in the middle of the night. Nasty smelling trashcans left right outside the front door. Rotting palm dates scattered all over the front has beds of flys swarming around. Plus side is the inside is nice looking with an ac. Major problem with inside is the dryer does work. I had to travel home with 2 loads of damp cloths in my luggage.

Unfortunately Cody did not review the ad thoroughly. The home is located downtown so it is only street parking. The dryer and washer are new and they both work fine. We made special accommodations for Cody and unfortunately he was not a good guests and so he decided to leave a bad review. He left our property in a mess, we would not recommend renting to him.
