This gorgeous 4-bedroom home with 3.5 baths is perfect for the business traveler with family or additional coworkers to unwind after a long day, Fully furnished, eat-in kitchen with extra seating at island and desk work space, family room with fireplace, dining room, sitting room, finished basement with workout room, equipment and weights & tanning bed. 30 minutes from Chicago! Entertainment deck with grill & gazebo & 27 round heated pool. Semi-secluded backyard, walking distance to bike path, playground, skate park, walking trails, restaurants and even the gym! Relax on the magnificent deck while watching the sunset and also have your coffee watching the sunrise.
This home is pet free and smoke free. And requires a clean “no-shoes” environment. We do not rent to "entire" groups under 30yrs old. ***Note: pool is open May through September. Washer & Dryer is not available to guests staying less thsn 7 nights. There are no cable channels but you can log into your pay-accounts on the Smart TV in the family room or on your tablets through Netflix, HULU, Amazon etc.

TOWELS & SHEETS: Please bring all used bedding down to the kitchen and leave them on the floor near the island. (Please DO NOT REMOVE the comforters, pillow case protectors or mattress protectors)
MONDAY GUESTS: please bring the outside garbage can to the end of the driveway for garbage pick up.
TUESDAY GUESTS: please bring the empty garbage can at the end of the driveway up to the garage door.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No outdoor shoes allowed in the home. I take pride in providing a clean and sanitized environment. Please remove your shoes at the door.

The home was lovely and the pools was excellent. Needs extra towels for large groups.and more pillows also wish the room with the kids them was adjusted prior to our arrival but we adjusted the toys and things safely and stored them in a closet as we did not have any children with us.

We had a wonderful experience at this lovely house! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. The space was impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for our family. The host was incredibly welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and amenities, making it an ideal spot for family outings. The house is pretty and large. But once you rent it a bunch of odd things occur. Limited toilet paper. No shoes in the house. No garbage bags. No laundry for 5 adukts stating a week. Very oddoccurred. We founf out no laindry inside this 300 sw

Beautiful Home

We had a great stay in this beautiful home. Primary bed is very comfortable. Didn’t sleep in other beds, but didn’t hear complaints from others that stayed with us so assuming all beds were just as comfy. Neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Felt safe walking to and from nearby stores and restaurants. Pool was great! My son swam a few times and my husband with him once. We did have to bring our own pool towels, so it would have been nice to be provided some due to traveling with wet items is no fun, but we made it work. Only complaints I have are I would have liked if there were more bathroom towels available for use. We stayed 5 nights and were only provided 1 set of towels (1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth) for each person. Also, there is no access to washer/dryer. This was my first experience staying somewhere we didn’t have laundry access, so that was different for me. I honestly didn’t pay attention to us not having access to laundry when booking, due to my history of always having access previously, so I will pay closer attention from now on for sure! Communication was a bit of an overkill regarding the rules, but once I was informed it was automatically sent, the owner took care of them not being sent any longer and all was good! Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again!

What you need to know

* be aware only people sleeping in the house can be in the house. We had hoped to have some local family visit us and use the pool and this was not allowed. We were very disappointed. * beds are not as advertised. Bed in child’s room is not a queen, two adults could not sleep in it.One bed is so high it’s impossible for seniors who are under 5’5” to get into/out of. Bed in one of the rooms has treadmill on one side so that a couple can’t access from each side of bed. * kitchen supplies were inadequate: not enough plates and bowls for the number of guests. Only 2 bowls. Not even 8 dinner plates. No corkscrew. No wine glasses. * outside gazebo had bats in it and they pooped on the table. Couldn’t use the table or gazebo. This could be a great rental, however Kristen made me feel like we were under surveillance the whole time we were there. Her paranoia about us damaging the property was over the top. We’ve been renters with VRBO for years and leave properties better than we found them. We’ve never had an issue of any kind. The pool is great and we enjoyed it a little bit. The treadmill is broken and in the way. After our stay I was accused of removing a Lego table in the “kids” room which Kristen later found in the closet. I’ve never felt this way in a VRBO before. I was very glad to get out of this house and on our way. The host filled me with anxiety from the beginning. The house itself was fairly comfortable.

We were shocked at your negative review of your stay. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. We have never had a negative guest review like this and We have been hosting for 18 months . The house rules are very clear that we do not allow gatherings at this location and extra people that were not confirmed initially. We have had many issues in the past with guests bringing extra people and damage left. So it’s our clear policy that we don’t allow this. I cleared this up before I accepted your booking. Then during your stay you called me to invite 2 more families to join you and we had to decline. There is a full kitchen stocked of dish ware, utensils, glasses, cook ware etc etc. Perhaps the plates were in the dishwasher? You must have overlooked them. I would have welcomed an additional phone call from you to request what was needed. If you felt the kitchen was an adequate and would have dropped off anything you wanted during your stay. Unfortunately, we never heard from you other than to ask us for the additional families to come to the house. I have a beautiful home and I have never had anyone complain because I set my house rules in advance. There was no reason for you to feel that you were under surveillance We are shocked to learn of this. We accommodated your communication since you were unable to successfully communicate daily on the Vrbo app and required us to text you. We communicated well there were no issues We do not have bats in our home and we’re surprised to learn that we had a bat in the outside gazebo and express to you our surprise as well. There is no way that we would have known this. Thank you for letting us know of your concerns. We will correct this for the future! Our number one goal is your happiness! In the future, please feel free to always reach out to us by phone call so that you may have a comfortable stay if There is anything you need. Thank you.
