We had a great time. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Quiet and loved walking and sitting by river. We had deer in the yard daily.

What a perfect home for a perfect vacation. Spent 9 nights here with grandkids and the boys - 2 and 4 - had a blast. From floating down the river, looking for bugs and slimy creatures, camp fires and smores to hitting balls in front yard - the home checked all the boxes. Private but close to everything for us. While the outside was the big hit, the inside of the home was very accommodating and we found everything as described. The hosts were super responsive and very helpful. I give this place a 10 plus.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sleep Bear Hollow. The house is clean, communication was excellent, and the location was perfect for a quiet mountain getaway. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and the large yard for star gazing on a clear night and tossing the frisbee during the day. My daughter has already said she wants to go back.

Overall great property and Location

We arrived at night but the codes for the gate and door worked find and directions were spot on. House and yard was very nice. I will say little to no cell phone service which was actually nice. Deer and other wildlife was around for a beautiful scenery. The only issues were: a few cockroaches in the kitchen the first night but our contact said it recently was treated. We did not see anymore afterwards and the glue boards did not show any. The WiFi never worked no matter what tricks we used, so the TV did not work. No WiFi did not bother us since it was just 2 nights and we stayed busy. Recommend bringing trash bags and toilet paper is staying more than 1 night. I would stay here again if just a weekend or short trip.

We also had trash bags and toilet paper in the cupboard but we have moved them to be more centrally located based on your feedback!
