Great Relaxing

The rental property was awesome as it make the time on the lake very relaxing. Host family was very helpful in making it a great stay.

Great option for families!

My husband and our two kids (ages 13 & 17) stayed here for a few nights. The house has been recently renovated, with new appliances and furnishings - everything is lovely (kudos to the interior designer!) and "low mileage". The home is in a quiet neighborhood, and just a short drive/walk to shopping and restaurants. We appreciated the lake access, including the kayaks and fishing poles. The fire pit and deck are very nice, too. Access to laundry was a plus, especially after my daughter introduced her brand new white sweatshirt to ketchup. :-) The complimentary k-cups, laundry supplies, and bundle of firewood was great. For those concerned about the downstairs occupants: We only heard them once during our stay (it just sounded like a muffled conversation) and never saw them. It didn't feel disruptive and didn't detract from our enjoyment of the property. We enjoyed our stay; the property and its amenities worked well for our family.

Lakeside getaway

We found this listing while looking for somewhere to celebrate our birthdays (husband and wife in our late 30’s) and bring our boat. We were disappointed that we couldn’t keep our boat on the water (our boat has a deeper hull and the water was a bit too shallow), but our host was so responsive and helpful — even offering us her personal dock down the road. The house was beautiful and very comfortable, and the proximity to downtown (and the main boat launch) was key for us. We had a great time and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay in the Forest Lake area.

Great place in a great location

Our family got together for the 4th of July weekend and we loved everything about our stay. The lake was great and we had access to the kayaks. We also had access to games and a fire pit for at night. There was a festival going on in Forest Lake which was another nice addition. The host was quick to respond to any of my questions.

Beautiful house and lake

We absolutely loved our time at this house. The amenities provided made us feel right at home! We had all we needed to have a great week! I highly recommend spending time here!
