About this property

Spacious home with charming lodge feel – In town, one block from trails!

Spacious and unique 6-bedroom home with a cozy lodge feel, perfect for larger groups, families, or those who love room to stretch out. 5 queen beds and a twin, two living rooms and two bathrooms with a large, fully equipped kitchen. One block from snowmobile trails, and a block from the charming downtown Calumet business district. Comfortable, clean, relaxing home base for biking, skiing, trail riding, snowmobiling, fall color touring, Superior beachcombing and all-around exploring the Copper Country.

A classic, comfortable hideaway with large common areas to relax and enjoy, just off the main drag in Calumet. Historic flavor with tasteful decor, uniquely nostalgic character with modern touches. High-quality bedding and linens, fast WiFi, and a great big kitchen that everyone seems to love. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms with queen beds, and behind the barn door is a cozy space with a twin bed we call the "Bunny Hutch." There's also a big kitchen with concrete countertops, breakfast nook, dining area, living room, and bath. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, full bath, living room, and mud room with ample storage space for boots and motorsports gear.

House sits above a ceramic studio, slated to open spring of 2024. Guest accommodations are separated from the studio by a bolted door. Guests have access to top 2 floors, six bedrooms, two entrances and approx. 2700 square ft. Inaccessible closets and areas on second floor have signage.

We have ample parking but please message us for more info if you have numerous or large trailers, especially in winter.

What an Amazing Lodge!
Our family stays up in the area 3-4 times a year and have rented many houses over the years. The Pine Lodge is special! The host is accommodating and responsive, check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the accommodations were better than my family expected! Our family loved the space and the fact that there are 6 bedrooms to accommodate plenty of people. With 2 bedrooms downstairs and 4 upstairs, it allowed for parents to stay downstairs and kids upstairs for privacy. We ended up moving the coffee maker downstairs for the week so that we could wake up early and relax while our kids slept in. This worked so well because there is a mini-fridge downstairs! The 2 different relaxing spaces on different floors was also such a bonus because some people could be upstairs watching tv, cooking, or playing a game, while others could be in what we dubbed "the parlor" reading. Our favorite room that made us all say wow, was the kitchen. It was so spacious that all of us could be in there cooking and chatting. We loved the storage space, the multiple sinks, and the overall cozy feeling. The property is also within walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Calumet. Stay at Pine Lodge and you won't be disappointed!

Very comfortable house.
This place is well cared for with upgraded bathrooms and kitchen. We had lots of room to spread out and we enjoyed our stay. The towels are nice quality too! We would definitely consider staying here again!

Why they chose this property

We love this area for the rich history, its people, and the perfect proximity to natural beauty and recreation. The immediate area in Red/Blue Jacket is a mix of down-to-earth residents and businesses on Pine. (A great new collectibles shop just opened next door!) Snowmobilers and side-by-siders will love being a block from trail 17. You're also 2 blocks from the disc golf course and wooded lake trails at Calumet Lions Park; a beautiful place to stroll, snowshoe and ski.
