The master bedroom which faces the beach has a King size bed. The large guest bedroom has 2 Double beds. The living room has a Queen size sofa sleeper and a recliner for your comfort. There are 2 TV's, DVD/VCR and High speed internet access. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size washer and dryer for your convenience in a separate laundry room.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful time at Surf Dweller. The place was clean, well equipped and all around homey.Right on the beach with a wonderful view and close to all attractions. All in all, a wonderful stay and for sure we will stay there again during our next visit.

Perfect Getaway

This property was exactly what we needed. The location was perfect, it was very clean and spacious. The balcony view was amazing! Rental company (Austin) was very helpful. We will be going back again.

Very pleasant

The weather was nice. The condo was pleasant but could use a few fans, some new outdoor furniture and some of the plugins didn’t work. Location and size of condo was good. Overall we had a good time.

Everything was very good I would come back next year except for one problem only 1 parking pass allowed there and when you have your family with you that's very inconvenient so I won't be looking to come back next year

Surf Dweller

I feel like the Surf Dweller condominium was very family friendly. It wasn’t overly crowded in our area! Very short distance from boardwalk to the beach, which is perfect!! I feel like it was odd that the pool is in front of the condos, instead of the back where you can have a beach view while in the pool, but in the grand scheme of things, that wasn’t an issue. Our unit could probably use some updating, and carpet in a condo these days also seems odd to me, but maybe that’s just me! I would recommend this condominium to my friends/family.

Beautiful view of emerald waters!

We love Okaloosa Island. the condo was nice with a few love dings here and there. Overall cozy and comfortable! The beds were comfortable! . But there is no beach chairs or umbrella for use daily. There are a few in the room but not beach service. So it’s kinda a hassle to have to carry chairs down every day. The tv in the second room had NO tv access to anything to watch. But we got in touch with the management and they supplied us with a fire stick to use during our stay. The dryer could use a massive update! It’s horrible!! They have tall balcony chairs to overlook the beautiful water this is a bonus! Out of all the codes we were giving NONE of them worked except to our room. With no way to get in touch with the host after hours we had to trust in other patrons to allow us access to the areas like the pool, beach, pool bathrooms, gym, and tennis court. But we managed. Overall we had a great stay and would stay again. :-)

We appreciate dealing with a person who takes the time and interest to know their clients and what they are looking for in a rental.

Upon entering, there was a musty smell. Could use some updated appliances/furnishings. Seemed clean enough when we unpacked midday. Then we returned from supper that night, turned on the lights and roaches were all over the kitchen! Very sickening. And that’s very upsetting because the location is great. Beach access is awesome as well. I did send an email to the rental company inquiring about a few concerns (no paper towels or dish soap provided) and they never responded. Not having the items was not a big deal, would have just like to have known before arrival.

Great location!!

This location right on the beach was great. The condo was very clean. The king bed was very comfortable. A few negatives, the dishwasher was gross and rusty on the inside. So I hand washed all the dishes. The one shower head was pretty clogged and didn’t spray well. One side of the kitchen countertop had sagged a few inches lower than it’s original location. This was very noticeable and just looked like some maintenance had been ignored. Overall I would give this place a good rating. The location was right on the beach which is what I really wanted. The balcony overlooking the beach was large. The place was very clean. It had several beds so my teenage kids didn’t have to sleep together.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Surf Dweller through Alicia Hollis last year and had no problem but year was different. We had booked Surf Dweller 102 this year specifically because it was on the 1st floor. When we arrived 5/13/2023, we did what we always do when checking in to a motel or condo, we checked for bugs before we brought anything in. One of the beds in the guest room had a dead bug between the egg carton mattresses on the bed. It looked like a bed bug to me, but my daughter reverse image searched and she thought it looked like a cockroach nymph. We also found a live cockroach crawling on the headboard of the bed in the main bedroom. There were dead cockroaches along the baseboards and live cockroaches behind the refrigerator. We called the after-hours number and the young man on-call was very responsive and had us in a new condo (609) within 30 minutes. He advised that staff from the office would call us Monday to discuss the issues with 102. He was really the best thing about our interactions with Alicia Hollis Rental staff. Condo 609 was bug free and was where we ended up staying all week. The condo is out dated (except for the main bathroom which looked to be newly renovated) and could have used a paint job and the carpet cleaned. However, fancy isn't our main concern so it was fine. Everything worked as it should and above all, it was clean and bug free. Back to the situation with 102. No one from Alicia Hollis Rental company ever called us after we were moved. When I dropped off the key on 5/20/23 I asked why no one had contacted us and was told that the staff member and the owner inspected 102 and there were no bugs. When asked about the bug on the bed, she said, "that was just an old dried up thing." She continued to insist that there were no bugs in the property. We had pictures we emailed her confirming the presence of bugs, but we received no response from that email. I wish I could post pictures here.

Sherroll thanks so much for your wonderful review, but, I and the 2 owners went to Surf Dweller 102 and there was no bed bugs or any other bugs in the unit. That bug that you had on the mattress was a dried up shell of a small roach, and it was not a bed bug. I am not sure why we were supposed to call you, when Austin already moved you to another unit for your vacation, and i am sure you had fun and enjoyed everything. So at this point, this unit, has nothing wrong in there and everything is excellent. Have a beautiful day.

Alot of issues with previous renters.Chris from office called and told me about them and the maintenance person came and looked at all the issues and wrote them down. I really appreciate that. Our grandson and his family were in this condo.The master bedroom ac doesnt have good air flow , the room stays really hot in there. It needs to looked at . All the vents need to be cleaned out.
