Cozy cabin features 3bds, 1.5 bath 2 decks. Comfy for 6 but can sleep 8. The porch gives a peaceful, memorizing space with rocking chairs to admire nature while the backyard gives the place to relax and lounge near the fire tables or in the spa under the stars. Cozy up with a wood burning fireplace in the living room. Cabin is equipped with WiFi Smart Tvs that allows you to stream your own Hulu, Netflix, Disney Plus, etc accts. Our kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to cook and BBQ
The space
Experience a unique cabin-style lodging. Need to unwind and enjoy a relaxing time in the open air mountains from the busy city, this homey cozy rustic cabin will provide this and more. Cabin is suitable for a family looking to enjoy a quiet stay in the Big Bear mountains. Enjoy a walk in our neighborhood with tall pine trees or a hike to Rosehill Drive Trail and experience a great view. Make this cabin your home away from home.

Cabin was built in 1973. Cabin is a modest size 964 sqft. Comfy for 6 people but can sleep up to 8 people. 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, backyard deck, front porch, and 2 driveways parking for 3 cars, all appliances in kitchen (no dishwasher) has a breakfast bar in the kitchen. Joined living room and kitchen areas are not spacious but are a modest size. Wood fireplace in living room, wall heater in living room for the winter cold days. Cabin has no A/C and can get a little warm upstair bedrooms during summer mid days. Ceiling fans and portable fans are available in bedrooms or just leave windows open to get the cool mountain breeze in the evening. Downstairs is a full bath (shower) with wall heater and full amenities and upstairs is half a bath (no shower). No washer/dryer but laundromat located one block away.
Front porch is harmonious with rocking chairs, table and chairs perfect setting to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine on a summer evening. Inviting spacious back deck is fully furnished with chaise lounge chair to enjoy after spa time, sit around fire tables to enjoy nature and socialize, cozy lounge wicker seating to enjoy after a long day of skiing or hiking. Spa is in service year round, heated up and ready for your stay. Quiet hours do apply for spa usage. Dual Charcoal/Propane BBQ grill with picnic table.

Reminder this is our beloved mountain home and not a hotel so please treat our home with respect and avoid additional fees at checkout. No loud music/gatherings while in the back or front yard sound travels in this neighborhood. Please be a GOOD neighbor during your stay. ***city ordinance quiet hours 10:00pm - 8:00am Big Bear is very strict***

All guests understand that during the winter there may be potential slip and fall hazards on the property due to the ice. All guests must use caution.

-Booking Guest is responsible to communicate and see additional guests adhere to the house rules.

-Table fire pits / BBQ grill- 3-burner dual charcoal and propane option for grilling. Please clean off the grill grates after usage cleaning supplies available. ***Please do not leave fire tables unattended. Please turn off propane tank and fire switch after use.***

- Porch/Deck/BBQ area please pick up after yourself. Do not leave empty beer cans, trash, etc.

-Please treat spa with care. Spa hours 8:00am-10:00pm. Please close cover after use. No smoking, chemicals, additives, shampoo, bubble bath, spillage of drink inside the spa or food. If required to drain spa for failure to adhere to the requirements a fee of $75 will be charged. All children must be supervised in the spa at all times! No children under 11 years of age in the spa, even with the presence of an adult. ****Be very careful exiting spa. If puddle of water is on the stairs it can become ice quick in winter weather. PLEASE exit and enter with caution*****

-Side/back doors these doors are tricky to lock. You need to lift the handle and then turn the lock. Instructions are posted on the doors as well. Double check doors are lock from the exterior of the cabin before leaving cabin.

-Please close all doors to avoid letting our mountain critters such as bugs, insects, birds, raccoons, mice or squirrels in the cabin.

-(DO NOT USE TOWELS TO CLEAN SHOES OR WIPE MUD OFF!). Towels are for bathing.

Please leave all snow shoes inside by front door mat. ****Do not use bathing towels for drying shoes.,****

-WiFi will at times need to be reset. Instructions are provided in the cabin guide book(blue binder) if needed.

-No washer/dryer available (laundromat 2 blocks away)

-No central A/C. Ceiling fans in bedrooms and portable fans available. Portable heaters also available.

-Smart tvs in cabin add your own accounts to apps Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, etc. No cable available. Connection for video gaming. Bring your own HDMI cable.

-Kitchen is fully equipped with, seasonings, silverware, dishes, pots/pans, glasses. Make sure dirty dishes are washed. Part of the checkout instructions. If dirty dishes are not washed an additional $25 will be charged for the additional mess. Drying rack is available under sink. Appliances in the kitchen are easy to use. Coffee makers manual on “how to use” is located in the Cabin Guidebook blue folder. Microwave is also available. NO STRONG ODORS(no frying fish, etc) inside the cabin.

-No refunds will be made for circumstances beyond our control, acts of nature, or weather related problems. If all three access of roads to and from Big Bear are closed for more than four hours at the same time, then you may reschedule your stay for another time, you will have to pay the price difference if the price is higher.

-Fireplace Wood burning fireplace. Lighters are on the side of the mantel next to fire extinguisher. You can purchase wood at the local Community Market 2 blocks away.

-Patio furniture is available for your use. Remove covers and place in storage brown deck box on the right side of deck. Do not move furniture from its placement. **** Winter weather furniture can be covered in snow and not usable****

-Deck lights switch located outside on the right side of the deck. Please turn off lights after deck use.

- Snow Shoveling - Deck, Porch, SPA, BBQ area may be snowed in depending on how much snow any given storm produces. Shoveling may be required to gain access. A snow shovel is provided at the cabin located on the back deck. Place shovel back in its place after usage.
