Escape to your private oasis, a spacious and secluded home perfect for year-round adventures with family and friends. We're within Shanty Creek Resort, offering 5 premier golf courses and Schuss Mountain for skiing/snowboarding. Also enjoy boating, kayaking, paddle boarding on nearby Torch Lake or Lake Bellaire, and biking, hiking, snowmobiling on the many scenic trails nearby. For your nightcaps, head to downtown Bellaire to enjoy the many local breweries, distilleries, and restaurants.

Welcome to the Midnight Blue Golf and Ski Lodge. With 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, this ranch-style home with a finished basement boasts 2,400 square feet of comfort.

Step inside to discover an open concept main level with a vaulted ceiling, seamlessly transitioning between the Living Room, Dining Table, and fully equipped Kitchen - perfect for bonding with family and friends. There are 3 bedrooms on the main level, including the Master bedroom, with its own private suite, featuring a jacuzzi tub, perfect for unwinding after those long golf rounds or full ski days.

The finished lower level offers an additional hangout area for playing games like foosball, cards, classic board games, or just relaxing and watching movies. There are 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom in the lower level.

Head outside to be surrounded by the majestic tall pines around the home. You can relax on the deck patio furniture or grill up some dinner, enjoy the warmth of a campfire at the bonfire area, or set up the corn hole boards (stored in the garage) for some competition.

Guests have access to the outdoor (seasonal) and indoor pool and hot tub at The Lakeview Hotel and the indoor pool and hot tub at The Lodge of Schuss Village with pool keycard provided.

You're within minutes of all 5 resort golf courses and others in the vicinity and Schuss Mountain for skiing and snowboarding. A short 10-minute drive away is downtown Bellaire, offering plenty of local bars and restaurants, most notably Short's Brewing Company. Local businesses downtown offer rentals for bikes (4 provided in garage), kayaks, paddle boards, boats and many more outdoor activities to fully enjoy the nearby lakes and trails. Traverse City is less than an hour away featuring casinos, wine tours, and more as well.

Bellaire Golf/Ski Retreat

This was definitely one of the best VRBO properties we have stayed at. The house was beautiful and could not have been cleaner. The kitchen was well stocked. We ate several meals there with ease. Our grandkids age 7-9 loved all the games and especially the bikes. The beds were all comfortable and linens and towels were thick and plush. Ryan our host was amazing and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay there again.

Very spacious, great for large families or two families. The owner was very easy and helpful to communicate with! It was a 6 min drive to the mountain; there is not a shuttle service to this rental. Definitely would recommend!

Best place we ever stayed in...

We have done fishing trips to northern Michigan every spring and fall for 25 years. This is the best place we have found to accommodate our needs. Everyone had their own space and the beds were very comfortable. We had all the kitchen and bath amenities we could wish for. We'll definitely come back.

Special Olympics Volunteers

This home was perfect for our group of volunteers. It was spacious and clean, with a place for everyone to sleep. The house is located just around the corner from the ski hill. Although we did not take advantage of the resort pool, we loved the tubing run! Our check in/check out went very smoothly, with great communication from Ryan. We can't wait to come back next year!
