Oceanfront Updated 5BR Duplex. Dog friendly!

Cloudburner East is a comfortably furnished and fully equipped 5BR/3BA oceanfront duplex (East side) located steps from the sandy beaches and beautiful waters that make you understand why Emerald Isle gets its name. This wonderful home sleeps 11 people, is equipped with high-speed wireless internet and 4 flat-panel TVs with cable for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy your coffee on the deck, taking in the views of the majestic Atlantic Ocean.

Enter on the first level where you will find Bedroom #1 (king bed with shared bathroom located right beside this bedroom). The washer/dryer is also located on this level. Up a few steps is the second level where the main living room, kitchen, and dining room is located. Admire the wonderful ocean views from this level and also access the beach from the deck The next few stairs lead to level three where Bedroom #2 (twin bed & twin bunk bed set) and Bedroom #3 (queen bed) share access to bathroom#2. Walk up a few more steps to the best views of the ocean from level four. There are two oceanfront bedrooms (bedroom#4: queen bed, bedroom#5: king bed). Bedroom#5 also enjoys its own private bathroom. Note: This rental is for the east side of the duplex, not the entire house. Up to two well-behaved dogs (depending on size, breed) are welcome with a $150 non-refundable deposit

You can't beat ocean front especially in Emerald Isle. The beach at this property is steps away and the unit has everything we needed.

The house wasn’t as clean as it should have been. Thought there were suppose to be boogie boards but that wasn’t a problem. I spoke with the owner concerning filter and ice maker working in the refrigerator and she said she would take care of it. Evidently it is an issue in a lot of rentals. Yes we would be back.

This was a lovely property with Direct beach access. It does have five bedrooms, but three of the bedrooms share one bathroom. There are two king size beds, but the other two rooms are double beds. The twin bunkbeds were normal bunk beds. I gave it a four star instead of five because seven people had to share one bathroom. Also, this is a place for people with young legs. It is very much designed up and down.

Great beach stay!

This was such a cute house! It was very clean, well decorated, and had comfortable beds and furniture. The location is great with easy access to the beach. The views from the house are amazing. The property manager was friendly and easy to get ahold of. Would definitely stay here again.

Birthday Vacay

We enjoyed our getaway to celebrate my twin boys’ birthday and the end of the school year. Despite only getting two days of nice weather we very much enjoyed staying here. It was very clean spacious for my crew and only steps away from the ocean.

This home was well maintained and clean upon arrival. It's easy to rent a home and feel like we got a place that has all the outdated, left-over appliances that were discarded from someone's everyday home, but I did not feel that way, here. There were plenty of extras like a crockpot, air fryer, kitchen utensils, fans, beach chairs, 3 grills, and kitchen towels/sponges. The extra hose downstairs was great because the shower on the walkway wasn't quite enough to knock off all the sand and salt. I appreciated having access to the drying line right outside the porch instead of hanging things on a banister. Communication with the owner and laundry services was incredibly easy. There was plenty of space for my dog to go outside and use grassy areas, or walk the nice neighborhood roads. Parking was surprisingly spacious.No significant negatives. Note to anyone with mobility challenges, this house has a lot of stairs and access from the beach is not easy. The porch is peaceful, but you cannot see the beach for the dunes. The master bedroom had more windows and tended to be hotter than the other rooms, but that was fixed with a powerful extra fan in the room.Overall, I hope to come again next year. Thank you for the beautiful stay!

The house was in great shape and had plenty of room for us to move around, even when it rained. The kitchen is well-stocked (unlike many that we have stayed at) and the unit even had extra beach chairs that were in good shape (not rusted). The beach is very deep in this part of the island, which is the primary reason to have a beachfront home.
