Winter Getaway

The property is great, situated perfectly for walking the beach and the pier morning and night and visiting places like Destin and Pensicola. The view is amazing and can't be beat to wake up to in the main bedroom. The building is well kept. We will be back!

The property was lovely. The view was amazing. We saw Dolphins from the balcony. Everything was clean, everything worked well, everything was comfortable. I would definitely book this property again. Dear Southern Rentals, thank you for taking good care of us.

Beautiful but.....

I absoluyely love the location and the view was stunning! Downfall was they only proved a single roll of toilet paper for each bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels. Also the condo above us was having work done so there was hammering and sawing all day for 4 of the 7 days were there. We are used to staying in homes and not condos so it was a new experience and the above may not bother you. Again I mist say the condo and the view were absolutely amazing!!!

While there is a lot to like about this property, here are our concerns...Don't like paying two booking fees, VRBO & Southern. Living room TV very difficult to operate. Had a tech come in to help & after an hour, never really figured it out. The basic supplies were very limited...no dishwasher soap, no back up toilet paper, etc. Felt like we were paying Ritz Carlton prices with Motel 6 service. And finally, we tried to get a one hour extension on check out & Southern wanted to charge us another 60. Not a good way to end our stay. Mike & Wendy

As for the supplies, we provide a starter set of essentials as noted in our pre-arrival info, but we understand it can be surprising if you're used to different standards. Regarding the late checkout request, we do our best to accommodate when possible, however, fees may apply due to housekeeping schedules. Lastly, we know that booking through a third-party company can sometimes result in additional charges, and we always recommend booking directly to avoid those, where possible.
