Bakerriver Tiny treehouse

This this tree house nearly hovers over the Baker River. It is close Mount Moosilauke. Wi-Fi is a short walk away, so is the toilet. A Village Market is close by. It can sleep 1 tall, 1 Medium, 1 very small person or pet. One full bed. Two people is ideal. The floor is a rhombus not a square. Heater works to well. The road is close, but the river rapids push out local traffic noise. I was a 10-year hosts on anther platform. I had 2,500 reviews and a huge return percentage. I hope my old guests find me here!

This was honestly a great trip. The property is beautiful and the host was super friendly and helpful. It feels very secluded, but you’re still close to civilization lol. It was just me and my pup and he had a great time also. We will definitely be back. It was great.

Clean bed. Good heat. Very peaceful to sleep right next to the river. I haven't lept so well in a long time. Close to good hiking in the whit mountains.

Enjoyed the stay. It was private and quiet. Host was personable and respectful of us. There are other campsites there, but they way they are laid out makes you feel like you are the only one. This was super close to the river which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was a great reset to the daily grind.

The host Eric was one of the worst people I have ever dealt with in the hospitality industry. There were no check-in instructions. I tried to contact the host Eric multiple times since 10 am and he did not answer through the app messenger, text, or by phone with the number the app provides. We got to the property at 4pm for the check in and the room was not cleaned, dirt and animal hair all over the sheets and bedding, the bedding also smelled like sweat and it hadn’t been washed in quite some time. We waited around for 1and 45 minutes in the rain trying to get in touch with him or thinking he would meet us for check in instructions and to clean the tree house which did not happen. After that we made different accommodations. About 2 or so hours after check in time he texted me and said he forgot he had guests. I kindly said we had to make other accommodations and I would like a refund because staying there this weekend would not work but I would possibly try staying there another weekend. He kept making new excuses to justify the terrible service. When I continued asking for a refund despite making up different excuses he was extremely rude and belligerent. VRBO customer service continued reaching out to him as I put in a case with them and Eric ignored customer service despite a dozen attempts to contact him. He is a terrible host who lacks customer service skills. STAY FAR AWAY!!!

Short weekend getaway

The treehouse was the perfect size for the two of us to spend a weekrnd while we hiked and explored the area. Peaceful, somewhat secluded, beautiful setting- exactly what we were looking for!

This property was very peaceful to stay at. If you decide to stay here be prepared for no signal while you are here. There is a town store about 10 minutes away that has wifi or you can ask the kind host about the wifi on the site. I would recommend the Tinny tree house for at most two people (or one Adult and two small children).

Wonderful Getaway

The location is awesome, right on the river. Having the firepit was perfect. Although we brought our own wood, having the option to purchase wood right on site is a bonus. The Treehouse was cozy but very clean. We would stay here again in a minute and have already told many of our friends about this place. Thanks for a great stay!

The tree house was awesome. Just as listed this is the perfect get away. Only thing is service does not reach out but the main house has wifi so If youre looking to disconnect this is the place to go. WE LOVED that there wasnt many mosquitoes even though we were next to the river. The owner is awesome and he is always down for a chat. I recommend 10/10!!

Excellent place to set up basecamp for a weekend hiking excursion

Although we mainly just used it to sleep the tiny treehouse was lovely and clean and the heater worked well to keep us warm on these chilly october nights , property is gorgeous with trails all thoroughout it . Will definitely come back one day

Perfect get a way!

The pictures do not do this place justice! It is such a beautiful property. If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place to relax; this is the place. Great communication with the host too! It is a perfect weekend get a way. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back soon!

Birthday gettaway

Rustic, private, peaceful little getaway! It had everything you needed to cook by the fire, although we brought our own skillets. Forever is beautiful and puts you to sleep! Bed is two foam mats but honestly just as comfortable as our bed at home, both slept like babies.

We loved our stay and will definitely be back!! Eric was a great host who is passionate about his property and it shows. From building the perfect fire for you that will light with one flick of your lighter to all the cute accommodations he’s built by himself with lots of little details in mind from lots of cut wood for your fire to having WiFi available. The treehouse was right on the river and we could hear the river babbling below us as we slept!! This is a great getaway that’s a step above tent camping but still rustic enough to not be glamping, which we loved! We’ll definitely be coming back to check out some of the other accommodations on site!!

Beautiful

I went up to NH for one night with my dog. Stayed in this adorable tree house on a cold November night. The propane heater kept me warm and toasty and comfortable. Eric welcomed us both with open arms. Can’t wait to come again.

Perfect weekend getaway

My boyfriend and I wanted to have a little weekend getaway to celebrate our two year anniversary together. We both love nature and thought this would be a good place. When we arrived, we were absolutely blown away by what was in front of us. Eric was so polite and met with us upon arrival to make sure we had everything we needed and answer any questions we had. We cooked meals over the campfire, we swam in the river, and we enjoyed every second of the peaceful atmosphere around us. I have never seen so many stars out in one night! We were sad to have had to come home and we will absolutely be back. I can’t recommend Baker River Rentals enough!
