About this property

Welcome to our spacious one-story home located close to anything and everything you'll want to do while visiting Bloomington. We are 3 miles South of the IU campus so you won't get the crowds and noise of the students yet can be on campus in 5 minutes! It's also just a quick 5 minutes to the East side mall and dining, 15 minutes to Lake Monroe, 5 minutes to Rogers Family Park/Jackson Creek and 5 minutes from downtown Blooington.

This 3 bedroom (plus large den/office space), 2 bath house has so much to offer. The open concept kitchen/dining/living is truly the heart of this home. With get togethers in mind, there is plenty of seating and space to spend time together comfortably. The kitchen features white cabinets with granite countertops and has plenty of counter space to cook a meal or create a buffet of take-out. Step outside to the large cedar wood covered porch...it's the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. With an attached 2 car garage and plenty of space for parking in the driveway, this home can accommodate numerous cars.

Perfect Family Gathering Spot when visiting IU

We stayed at this fabulous house for our daughter's final doctoral recital with family coming from Illinois, Texas and Michigan. It was very spacious, clean and well-equipped and felt like home away from home. The layout of the house was great - multiple seating areas, an awesome screened in porch and best of all, the beds are very comfortable! It's located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a nearby park that has a great walking trail. The hosts, Ryan and Kira, were great communicators and a pleasure to deal with. Our only regret is that we didn't discover this sweet spot 3 years ago when our daughter started school at IU because we would have booked it for every visit!

Great Home!

This home was perfect for our weekend in Bloomington. It was close to IU (we were there for an audition at Jacobs School of Music). The house was clean and spacious, and the neighborhood was quiet. The hosts were very communicative and quick to reply. We had no issues and would definitely stay there again!

I live in Bloomington, Indiana with my husband, Ryan and our 4 young sons. We love getting outside in the summer to enjoy Lake Monroe and the many local walking/biking trails in Bloomington. We also consider ourselves to be "foodies" as we love eating delicious food at the restaurants in B-town. And in the winter you will find us either jetting off to a warm location or sitting by our fireplace watching movies :) Ryan and I love to travel and have used VRBO successfully for many years and were hosts at our last home in Chicago. We are now in Bloomington and looking forward to giving visitors a comfortable place to stay while enjoying there time in our town :)
