Perfect stay! House was clean, location was great, and we had plenty of space for our family. Right next door to multiple great food spots like 45 surfside and yummy. Very close to the stop and shop, muse pizza spot and Millie’s. We also enjoyed that the bike rental “easy riders” was within walkable distance of the house. All communication was quick and smooth. Overall great stay and would definitely recommend!

Most wonderful property for a girls trip “ Five Star weekend”. We stayed for 7 nights. l We throughly enjoyed Nantucket.The location is close to a shuttle stop and walkable to town. The kitchen is well equipped with all your needs.The rooms are spacious and well decorated. And you must try the outdoor shower with hot water.Thank you Peter for accommodating all of our requests.

One of the best VRBO I've rented

This was an outstanding rental property. From sharp knives in the drawers to bathtub drains that worked to comfortable beds, it is thoughtful in its furnishings and well maintained. Highly recommended.

The property was as listed. Clean, well stocked, great location on bike path and free bus route. Very easy getting Ubers. Great breakfast/lunch place called 45 Surfside was two blocks away. Loved the front living room and the back sun room . We had trouble opening up the lockbox but the caretaker was onsite. Great directions on hand for tv, checking out, etc. I would stay at this house again.

Home away from Home on Nantucket

Our family of six stay here the week of Thanksgiving every years and it is ideal. Charming, comfortable, well equipped, spacious and walking distance to everything and the owner/ manager are nice to work with. We will be back again next year.

Memorable Family Vacation

The house was in a great location, was clean, and was exactly as shown in the photos. Plenty of dishes, cookware, towels, etc. - everything you could possibly need. It was a delayed Christmas present/family vacation for all 7 of us (6 adults + a 1-year-old), and we had a great time. Plenty of room. Would definitely book here again! (Probably the only minor "complaint" was that the mattress in the downstairs bedroom may need to be replaced - was a bit too soft.) Thank you, Peter, for making this a memorable time for us!

Great location close to town and beaches!

I recently stayed at this property with my husband and two young kids. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a good size house and the location was ideal. I walked to town a couple of times and grabbed coffee/breakfast at two nearby coffee shops every morning which were a 2-3 min. walk. Surfside beach is a 5-6 min. drive. The bike/running path is outside the door and there is a bike shop about a 5 min. walk from the house. Also, the Stop and Shop is only a 3 min. drive for last minute items. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this house for your stay on Nantucket!

Property-Clean and comfortable decorated with modern but cosy beach decor, had all the things we needed (kitchen appliances, beach activities, towels, etc.) and the beds were comfortable. Great shower pressure. Located just a few houses down from the Wave (free bus system) was great! I did end up renting a small car for the week so we could use it at night to go to dinner in 'Sconset and eat Tacos in a Box from Millies on the beach in Maduket to see the sunset, among other places. Our favorite close beach was Fisherman's. Even with a few planes flying overhead it is super peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommend staying here and enjoying Nantucket from mid-island. Central to everything. Also, 45 Surfside Cafe and Yummy were right next to the home if you wanted to get smoothies, acai bowls, coffee or breakfast or lunch. Stop and Shop was a 3 min drive or 10 min walk from the house as well for grocery shopping. Also, many times we took the bus into downtown but ended up walking back to get a little more walking in. Very doable. Recommend: Sunrise in Sconset', Sunset at Maduket and Cisco Beaches, Bluff Walk Sconset', Lighthouses, Whaling Museum, Walking to the top of the First Congregation Church, and the older homes that you can visit with purchase of ticket to whaling museum,Downtown shopping, lots of restaurants-book a few weeks ahead if you can on Resy or Open table for some of the most popular ones.

Fair priced house

Pros: Clean, really hot water, great water pressure. Heating system worked well. Beds comfortable. Cons: Shabby; everything could use an upgrade. Dishes chipped, cracked, appliances need to be replaced. location not great without transportation. 25 min walk into town. Wound up taking Uber a lot. Construction on street whole week and backyard being dug up for another building during week. I do not believe there will be much of a backyard beyond patio in future. Not stocked in any way: 3 rolls of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms. No tissues, no basics like coffee, sugar, etc. which my other rentals have provided. overall: for the price it was worth it. There is an additional cottage to rent if you had more people. Your own car would make it more ideal. There are beach towels and chairs if weather good.

August stay

We had a lovely time. House was as described. Plentiful towels for beach and shower. The only issue is that it was somewhat bare-bones on some supplies, within two days of arriving we ran out of toilet paper and when we asked for more we were told they do not stock extra toilet paper. A little surprising but otherwise a great house.
