Welcome to Casa Charles in the foothills of Mt. Helix, La Mesa Ca. Our home has EVERYTHING you need to enjoy a large family get-together in the beautiful La Mesa sunshine! Sparkling pool, relaxing spa, Wood-fire oven, outdoor fireplace, yard games, Bocce Court, patio with a BBQ grill and much more. This 1955 sq ft 4 Bedroom, plus a den with arcade games and 3 baths can accommodate 12 guests and comes with a fully stocked kitchen for any chef's needs! This home is great for one big family or a couple families that are looking to enjoy the great San Diego weather!
It’s also a great place to remotely work, we have 500 MB internet and whole house Wi-Fi extensions!

If you’re into cooking there is a beautiful kitchen with bar seating, ample pantry, stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped with pots and pans, dishes, glassware, and everything you may need. Huge living room has a natural gas fireplace with 65-inch TV, wet bar area and plenty of seating.
The best part though is the outside space! San Diego is all about the outdoor living with the 24/7 amazing weather! The pool, the bocce court and the entire yard is set up for relaxation and fun. Patio dining area, a BBQ and fridge for enjoying delicious meals while swimming! The fireplace for roasting marshmallows or relaxing after a long day of exploring the city! We’ve also outdoor lawn games like corn hole, rings, bocce balls and everything needed for a good time!

Incredible house

We stayed here with my in laws. The place is amazing. Pool is heated and saltwater. The backyard is like a little resort and we spent so much time outside. The hosts were excellent and very fast at responding when the pool cover stopped working. The house feels much bigger than the listed square footage. The hosts have thought have everything. Highly recommend.

Well kept house.

We had a pleasant stay at the Casa Charles and really enjoyed the hot tub but never ended up using the pool. The internet was solid as advertised. The house isn’t perfect and one of the bedrooms is in a converted garage (where I slept) but it’s well kept and you can tell the owners care. The house is very close to the freeway which is convenient but also creates some noise pollution, but not enough that we were bothered by it much. The drive between the house to mission beach was about 20 minutes, but we were never driving in traffic. We would love to stay here again.

My group of 10, 6 adults and 2 kids and 2 babies, had a lovely family reunion here for three nights. The home was just as it was advertised: clean, well stocked for families, and lots of spaces with fun amenities. We really appreciated the kitchen that was well stocked with items for cooking all sorts of cuisines. We cooked 10 meals for a large group during our time here so we got a good sense of what was provided. The rooms were comfortable and well stocked with towels, blankets, pillows and other thoughtful touches that truly made it feel like you were staying with family. We greatly appreciated their baby storage closet with two copies (or more) of baby essentials - like portable cribs and high chairs. The check in and check out were super easy and the host was extremely prompt with responses. We have already talked as a family about coming back to this rental because of how great of a time we had. I think the only areas I could see being improved would be: adding portable baby gates to their supply closet to help block of the stairs to the media room, adding ziploc bags and other food storage containers for leftover storage, and maybe adding a running water feature to the backyard (little waterfall type thing) to help block the noise from the freeway that is near by. I know these are super random and truly did not demote our experience, but thought I would mention them for the hosts to get some kind of item to potentially improve on.
