This was the perfect cabin for our family trip to Yellowstone. We enjoyed the 5 mile scenic trip to reach the cabin. Everything we needed was there for us, beds were comfy, and a huge plus was the washer/dryer in the cabin!

Couldn’t be happier that I chose this cabin for our vacation. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and overall the perfect lodging option. Bonus points for the vintage styling of the home. 10/10 highly recommended!
Very cozy and quiet. Clean and well supplied. This was a great location for our days spent in Yellowstone. The county road crew should grade the road, but the property was just right for us.
I can’t say enough about this cabin. Perfect location up the mountain for peace and relaxation after spending all day in the national park. Rental was very clean had all the amenities we needed. The mini cooler especially came in handy. Bed was comfortable and kitchen was fully equipped. You can hear the river at all times. Host made sure we were aware of the fire ban. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
Property was a peaceful place to stay to visit north Yellowstone. It’s off the beaten path for sure. Best to pack for the day and come back after exploring as the bumpy ride to the property adds about 10-15 min from town. Rustic as described but cozy. Kate was great for communicating.
Good: large, clean, liked the porch to sit on after our day Kitchen had a good selection of pots and pans to Cook. It is a way out of town. The road is in need of a plow. Someone described it as a Montana massageWould have been a big plus to have a TV

We loved our stay here. It is very spacious and has a comfortable bed and also a comfortable futon. The kitchen had everything we needed - the cooler and ice pack for days in the park were really appreciated. The bathroom was big and nice. Loved spending our mornings on the rocking chairs on the big front porch where we could hear the river. The drive up the bumpy gravel road isn’t great, but the property made it worth doing the drive once a day. And sometimes we saw elk on the drive! We much preferred this to staying in town. We would stay here again.
Overall a very lovely property. This cabin is a duplex style, so it would of been nice to have the main doors labeled, cabin 1 vs cabin 2. As other guests have mentioned, the road to the cabin is really the only down fall, as it is nothing but washboards style roads but you find out really quick how to avoid the really rough areas. The area is throughly beautiful and there wasn't a time that i couldn't hear the river which was simply serene during early morning walks.
Very spacious and clean and very quiet. We had a slight problem when we first arrived, and Kelly arrived almost immediately to help us. We truly
enjoyed our time there.

Tranquil getaway
It was a lovely property. We enjoyed the fire pit. The mattress was hard and the bathroom fan seemed to be broken. I only wish it was mentioned that it is up a mountain from town, 5 miles of gravel road. Not very convenient.
The cabin was clean and comfortable. The heater in living room did not work and it was very cold in the mornings. The road to and from the cabin is very rough and hard on your vehicle. I understand that’s beyond the host’s control. But feel like it should have been given in details. The pictures on Vrbo site are not accurate. I was expecting a river/stream to be on property and it was not. This is bear country and you need to have bear spray.

The cabin was clean with tv and wifi internet access. a very quiet area with little traffic. Downside was that it was located up a mountain via a 5 mile gravel road with several switchback's. This should have been detailed in the listing. The lighting in the cabin was adequate but should be brighrer which could be easily accomplished by changing out bulbs with higher wattages. An outside security light would be nice when coming in after dark as it is totally dark with no external lighting, thankfully I had a flashlight.
Communication was great. I had no questions, but management reached out ahead of time to see if I did.
We arrived much later than anticipated, but the directions were great, and there was no problem finding the place and getting in.
The house is close enough to Yellowstone Park to be convenient, and far enough away from the more crowded areas in town to be relaxing and have our own space.
We had everything we needed….full kitchen, with dishwasher and coffee maker; washer and dryer to make it easy to travel light; hairdryer; WiFi; and plenty of space!
Thank you for sharing this perfect property with us!
The cabin was a rustic cabin in a very remote setting. The cabin was clean but smelled musty initially, this got better with open windows and door. I knew it was off the beaten path with the picture but I didn’t expect around 5 miles of gravel washboard road to get there. I also didn’t expect it to be so remote. I didn’t like this at all. I didn’t feel safe. I know this is a subjective thing and a lot of people like this kind of remote. I do not.
Overall good but not great, overpriced for what you get
We stayed in the Bear Cubs cabin. The cabin is very clean, rustic, quiet, description is correct. Wifi is OK but sometimes cell phone signal was a bit weak, probably because we're in the mountains in an isolated place. No view (just the parking lot you see on the photo).
2 things bothered us : access to the bathroom/toilet is in the bedroom, meaning that if you share the cabin with other people, they will have to cross the bedroom to go to the toilets. Not great for intimacy. Second topic is the fact that you have to drive 15 min on an unpaved road to get there. We had a thick layer of dust on the car at each trip.
The washing machine was out of order when we stayed. We were warned ahead but didn't receive the message because we were in the Yellowstone park without any connectivity. I wish we were offered the possibility to wash our clothes in the other cabin's washing machine that remained empty during our stay.
Overall good but not great, overpriced for what you get. and the few constraints.
