The property owners were wonderful. They left scrumptious cookies and lovely flowers. Also, we locked ourselves out of the house and they came to our rescue. The location was great but be aware that it is next to a working lobster pound. The fisherman start before dawn. We enjoyed our stay in Owls Head.
My sister and best friend stayed at this beautiful home. Anna made us the BEST chocolate chip cookies ever!!! I could not have asked for a better place to make our stay so enjoyable!!!
Ocean visible. Pet friendly but we did not have one. All excellent. We are in our 80s and found the stairs a bit daunting! Also had a bit of trouble with our Verizon phones but they worked ok outside. Otherwise we were very happy with the house and would recommend it highly.
Loved up to expectations. Close to town for an adventure. We went over to the islands one day. Just bring extra layers the wind off the water can be chilly. Owners are responsive and very helpful.
Anna and rodneys place was wonderfully cozy yet spacious for our family with 4 adults and a dog. It had everything we needed for eating in and relaxing, and was conviently located to Owls Head and other parks and public areas, as well as downtown Rockland.

A charming home near a beautiful lighthouse. We enjoyed the quiet town of Owls Head and still being so close to Rockland and Camden. Crescent Beach was great for swimming and Mcloons per Anna’s recommendation was phenomenal (highly recommend their whoopie pies!)
My family of 5 had a great time here. It’s adorable and we enjoyed playing games and the fire pit at night. Our host recommended a day trip to Monhegan Island - it was simply awesome. Also, hiked in Camden Hill State Park and enjoyed downtown Rockland and Camden. A wonderful place to spend a few days.

We had a wonderful visit during our stay in Owls Head! The house had the charming feel of just being in Maine. It was clean and had everything we needed! Also, we were not far from many of the sites in the area. Thank you Rodney and Anna for such a great place!

Hope to see you all again.
Beautiful house that was right near all we wanted to do. Anna was great with communication and gave several ideas of things to do. Would recommend a stay and visit to the area. It was all we expected Maine to be.
We truly enjoyed our two week September stay. Our host and accommodations were excellent. If you enjoy the serenity and hospitality of the local people, then this location is for you. Quaint, nautical, and spacious. We will be returning to this world soon. Thanks to Anna and Ryan!

Charming home in a great location
We truly enjoyed our short stay in Owls Head. The home was charming, comfortable and had everything that we needed for our family. It was a short walk to the lighthouse and convenient location to visit Rockland. The kids enjoyed exploring the wharf looking for shells. Nice outdoor space with a new deck and fire pit. Would definitely visit again!

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for thinking of us and hope to sell you all again!
Wonderful time! Piano was a pleasant surprise.
Lighthouse proximity amazing! Lobster rolls at McCloon’s were delicious.🦞 Stay here if you want a wonderful convenient place to stay!
There was space for everyone. We walked to the lighthouse three times, to the wharf and got lobsters from the wharf. General store was a short walk and we walked there most days. Short drive to most places we wanted to go
We loved our stay here. There were lots of rooms with two bathrooms and stairways. Cleaning products were on hand. The decor and furniture made things cozy. I have no complaints here! I'm planning on returning!
This was our 2nd year of staying at the property with friends for the Blues Festival in Rockland. Close to town but far enough away to have our own space. The space is great for outside or inside meals and an evening by a fire pit. We were definitely comfortable

Thank you for thinking of us again! You had beautiful weather for the Festival. Hope to see you again!
The property is charming…it reminds me of family vacations from my childhood.
The house is very comfortable, but it is an old house in the country, so if you are looking for that vibe, it is perfect. It is in a place near where boats launch and dock. This is a nice location if you have pets and kids.
