About this property

Florence Oregon, Enjoy Walks on the Beach or Relax by the Fire

Kickback, relax and enjoy escaping in our immaculate, Cape Cod Cottage. Built in 2006 our home was inspired by family 'At the Cape'. Flexibility is the key word when describing our home because it can be a cozy get away for two or a family reunion for up to eight.

We are a short 2 minute walk to the beach where crashing waves and beautiful sunsets are sure to amaze and inspire. Take romantic walks on the beach or if you already did that and now you have the 'kids' bring a lawn chair, a bottle of wine (beer works too) and some beach toys. Whatever your plan is nothing beats a day at the beach especially if you don't have to drive home!

When your day at the beach comes to an end, take a nice relaxing hot outdoor shower, mix a cocktail and fire up the BBQ. Life is good!

The description is absolutely as written. Reference was 2 minutes to the beach which it was…and beach is excellent. Well stocked kitchen that had everything we needed. We had a few questions for our host and he responded immediately. Location was excellent for touring a number of locations on the central Oregon coast. We for sure would look forward to staying here again in the future.

The house was in a great location- just a short walk to the beach. It was clean and well-decorated. The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed to make meals. We'd definitely stay here again. The only downside was the ubiquitous sand burrs on the property, which made the yard unusable for our dog.

I cannot say enough about this place absolutely wonderful perfect beach house in Florence across the street from Haceta Beach. The house is spacious and has the best beach vibe. I cannot wait to come back again soon.!

We loved this place!!! Great kitchen, comfy beds, nice and clean, great family vibe, and beachy ambiance. We rented it as our accommodation for a family reunion. Great place to stay

We have a child with special needs. This house worked perfect. It was next to Heceta Beach with wheelchair accessible moby mat to the beach from the parking area. We will definitely stay here again.

Valerie and I have been together for 10 years now and we have 3 children ages 3-7 so we understand the importance of the 'getaway' from our busy lives. We love to take the kids to the coast and create the pages of memories that will make up the book of our life but, it is the time spent and the memories created with the one you fell in love with that is the glue that holds those pages together.

Why they chose this property

We love Florence. The old town shopping, Dune buggy rides, Horse back riding, Golfing, Beach combing, Whale watching, Hiking I could go on and on. Bottom line is Val and I both felt Florence is a place we could build a lifetime of 'fun'memories with our family.

What makes this property unique

Our home is nearly new so it is 'nice and tight' what i mean by that is when its cold outside its nice and warm inside because the doors and windows don't leak it has a forced air heating system and a Lopi wood burning stove (firewood included) all the modern appliances, 1 car garage and a fenced yard for the pooch!
