The Michiana Apartment #3 is one of four apartments in the building and is located on the second floor. Guests will need to walk up and down a full flight of stairs to access the apartment.

The Michiana Apartment #3 is located on the northeast corner of Michigan Avenue and Indiana Avenue at 303 Michigan Avenue in South Haven, Michigan. The location is ideal in that it is directly between the South Beach and all of the shops and restaurants in downtown South Haven!

South Haven Getaway

Perfect location to enjoy the beach, water and relaxing dinners and drinks. Condo was clean, cozy and within walking distance of everything. Perfect for our five day getaway. Hosts are accessible and very accommodating.

Enjoyed our visit to South Haven

My husband and I were in South Haven for a family reunion. This apartment was great. It was not only within walking distance of town and the beach, but was also conveniently located to the houses rented by other family members. Michael was very quick to respond to the questions that came up when we first arrived. The kitchen was equipped with the necessary tools for making simple meals. South Haven is a nice little town, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Too light in bedroom

The property was clean and had a good location. The only issue was the bedroom windows had shades but let the light in. It also had an octagon window with no shades. The checkout time of 10:00 was early for us.

Clean, Relaxing Apartment in a Great Location!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Michiana 3. Michael was very gracious in answering our questions before our stay. There were beautiful fresh flowers on the counter upon arrival which was such a lovely touch. This apartment is in a prime location in town. It’s only a few blocks walk to the beach, and a few blocks walk into town. There are so many wonderful and fun things to do in South Haven; we had a fabulous trip! The apartment was very clean and the cooking materials that were provided were perfect for a week’s stay. The bed was comfortable and it was easy to control the temperature of the apartment. We loved eating meals outside on the patio and grilling. The bedroom has a large closet which was perfect for hanging our clothes and storing our belongings. The cable selection was very comprehensive and we were glad to have the relaxing love seat to cuddle on after sunset each evening. The washer and dryer in the basement was so convenient. It was fantastic to be able to take home clean clothes at the end of the trip. We used the outdoor shower after being at the beach. I was so impressed with how clean it was; it was immaculate! I was also so glad that it had nice hot water. Check in and checkout was a breeze. Overall, the apartment is beautiful with the perfect beachy vibe and is in a great location.

We love South Haven!!! We live in Glenview, Illinois but consider South Haven our home away from home. When we are there we feel more relaxed. It is easier for us to focus on and enjoy spending quality time with each other and our children. We can feel anxiety, stress and blood pressure levels go down when we are there. We hope after a few days in South Haven at the Michiana, you will feel the same way.

Why they chose this property

Location! Location! Location! We enjoy the location of the Michiana as it is so easy to walk to the South Beach Public Park as well as the less than five minute walk to all of the great shops and restaurants in downtown South Haven. Once the groceries are purchased, there is no need for your car again.

What makes this property unique

The Michiana was originally built in the late 1800s as a large single family home. It was then converted into four individual apartments consisting of two, two bedroom apartments and two, one bedroom apartments. Since we purchased the property in 2004, we have made a significant investment of both time and resources to update the building and individual apartments. We feel we have retained the original architectural character while providing most of today's modern conveniences. While the location is incredible, we also love the charm of the place itself. It says 'Home'!
