Located in the beautiful Leelanau peninsula, this spacious four bedroom home features a full kitchen with dishwasher and complete laundry area. The back deck overlooks a winding trout stream. Close to golf courses and parks, the property is two miles from beaches, restaurants and shopping. The Leelanau Sands Casino is four miles away and there are numerous vineyards and wineries in the area. There are one and a half baths and the sunroom can be used as a fourth bedroom if needed. Also the sofa is very comfortable for sleeping. BBQ and fire pit provided. Large back yard and wooded trails for hiking. Sattellite TV upstairs and down.

The house was so incredibly beautiful and we had a wonderful time staying there. Everything we forgot to bring with us was already there, and even stuff we didn't realize we needed! The check in process was very easy and the beds were very comfortable. Hope to stay there again soon :)

Great location close to so many great wineries and food, about 40min to sleeping bear dunes. And less than 15min to Christmas cove beach. House has everything you need to feel right at home. Will definitely be back in the future.

Great location and nice house

Exactly as advertised. Peaceful, nice, and in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay. Very close to Northport and not far from all the other charming towns in the peninsula. Plenty to do in the area and also nice to hang around the house and enjoy the grounds.

Great house. Great location

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house has a roomy family room, great WiFi, well equipped kitchen, and a wonderful dining table with plenty of seating. Located only minutes from Northport and Omena. We hope to make a return trip. Full sized washer and dryer were appreciated, as was the outside fire ring. We sat on the front porch every evening.

Very cozy

This property worked great for our girlfriend get away! We each had our own bedroom and plenty of living space. The only down side was that it is close to a pretty busy road and the fire pit was in an awkward place. We would however rent it again in the future!

Tell us about your stay* The location was perfect. Northport is a great place and we had a beautiful week exploring the area. Cleanliness is my highest priority and the reviews gave high ratings. I was disappointed to find that the place wasn’t actually clean (eg. mouse droppings were found on the counter tops).

This was some sort of freak occurrence . We have been renting our property for 12 years and have never had any complaints about mice, if that is actually what you saw. We went through the house, top to bottom and did not find any evidence of a problem. We are, however, bringing in an exterminator just in case there is something we missed.

Perfect Fisherman’s Location

We visited Roger’s place for a weekend fishing trip on East/West Bay. Location is perfect as you have boat launch’s just a few miles both north and south. House is perfect, and accommodating for 5 guys who are really tired. One thing to mention is that my father is 85 and doesn’t do stairs well. Great to find the master bedroom on the main floor to help ease his visit while us younger men had plenty of room upstairs. We will absolutely visit Roger again!

The house was great and clean. Plenty of room. Just disappointed about advertising stream in back and hiking trails. The pictures on website was different from what we saw. But not a big deal. Will rent again in the future.

Great family memories

Rogers place is great. He has everything you need already set up and communicates very well if there is a problem he will fix it. The layout is great for a family it is big enough you never feel crowded. The front porch is an excellent gathering place and fire pit is perfect. Some of the land is wooded with a nice creek running through it. This is my family's 3rd time at his house and we will be back next year if it is still available. Thanks for everything Roger.

Very nice home for time away from home! Our dogs love running around in the yard in circles around the home. I would only suggest that (only because I’m a clean freak) someone comes in and cleans prior to someone coming in. I cleaned the counter, washer and lint buildup in dryer. Some other areas that others may not even worry about. Everyone is different I know. Over all the house is a great location, quiet area, dark skies, and very peaceful to sit outside and enjoy nature. Thank you!
