Rustic waterfront house overlooking Kickemuit River and Mt. Hope Bay. Newly renovated and refurbished with all new furniture, linens, curtains, bedding and towels. No smoking and no pets allowed. Glassed/screened porch runs the length of the house on the water side for enjoying meals or just relaxing. Wake to sunrises, sunbathe, swim or rent a kayak and paddle. A boat ramp is at the end of the street for those with a boat. The beach is rocky, so beach shoes or socks are recommended for swimming.

Had a really nice weekend here. The good/bad/ ugly.. Sun porch was very nice. Loved sitting and looking at the water/reading and feeling the breeze/water. The view was awesome! Downstairs bedroom with the ocean breeze was amazing. Beds were comfortable. Property advertised as newely remodeled but it was a little outdated. Some of the furnishing need updated. Shower/bathroom is very tight. If you are a larger person it would be difficulty to maneuver. Daughter is 6'3 and had to wash hair in sink because water faucet was low/ shower was so tight. Power went out while there(just a tripped breaker) but the owner/manager was super fast (30 minutes) to respond and tell us how to find the breaker box. All in all for the area and price we would absolutely stay again. Only thing making it 4 instead of 5 was furnishing can be updated/place fixed up. Some of the rooms very dark even with lights on.

This waterfront cottage has been in the family since the 1940's. Originally the family's summer vacation home. It has been winterized for use all year.
