We stayed at the Owl house for five weeks this summer. The house was clean and the space felt homey and inviting. The beds, sofas, and armchair were very comfortable. The house is located on an open field with trees and the mountain as the backyard.There is a porch and rocking chairs to sit on where you can watch the deer, rabbits, and birds. If you’re on the porch at 5:30 in the morning you can hear the most amazing birdsongs. We highly recommend anyone staying here to download the Merlin app to identify and record the birds you hear.Lynne, our host, was really welcoming and always available.We would certainly stay at the Owl house again.

Our host was pleasant, attentive and responsive. The home is very nice, modern, comfortable,well equipped. It's in great condition as well. We made our breakfasts and evening meals there. All equipment is modern and in good working order. Such a cozy, comfortable place to stay!

So relaxing

This is not our first stay, and it won't be the last. The Owl House is a beautiful, quiet location. Secluded enough for privacy, close enough to the owner (and good neighbors) for security.

Weekend away

Such a beautiful house in a beautiful location. Kids had fun exploring the outdoors and creek. Saw lots of deer and enjoyed watching the humming birds.

Relaxing

We had an amazing stay. We attended the Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle and it was peaceful to return to the cabin each evening for a relaxing time. My son-in-law and grandsons, along with a friend from high school, were together. We loved this place! Communication with the owner was great. I highly suggest staying here.

Just what we needed.

We needed a place to unwind and regroup. The Owl House was a perfect place to do that. We liked it so much, we booked two more long weekends while we were still there.
