About this property

Simply delightful Guest Suite in Lancaster County Country

This newly renovated one bedroom suite is located in the beautiful Lancaster County countryside. This apartment is attached to our house but has a private entrance. We are located between the villages of Intercourse and Bird-in-Hand and within fifteen minutes of most Lancaster Country attractions. Our property is surrounded by Amish farmland and is a quiet retreat for 1-4 people.

Enjoy the beautiful backyard in summer on the back deck or yard surrounded by trees. Open fire ring, wood, and gas grill provided.

Our apartment includes a bedroom with one queen bed, full bathroom, living room with a sofa bed, sun porch, and furnished kitchen. All linens are provided.

A PERFECT spot for a getaway. Quiet, peaceful location in the midst of Amish farmlands. Close enough to everything you’d want to do and leave time for rest and relaxation. Omar and Mary are delightful hosts. Comfortable and just right inside with a full kitchen, plus a deck to sit out on with your morning coffee. Could not recommend this place more highly! Can’t wait till we’re back!!!

Clean and comfortable cottage. Simply appointed and had everything we needed. Hosts were very welcoming, and we enjoyed the homebaked cookies when we arrived. So quiet on Sunday you could practically hear the corn (surrounding the property) grow.

Great central location for Amish activity. Very friendly hosts and available for questions. The is the second time we stayed here.It is very pleasant and peaceful location without traffic noise except for and occasional clacking of horse hooves and the sound of buggy wheels.Overall an amazing place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were helpful and gracious. The location was ideal, out in the country surrounded by corn fields but within easy driving distance of many attractions in Lancaster County. The vacation home itself was clean and quiet. At night, the only sounds were the very occasional car on the nearby road and the clip-clop of a horse and buggy going by. The full kitchen allowed us to prepare some meals at the home. Our five-year-old daughter had a lot of fun on the slide in the backyard. We stayed here three years ago; when we were planning to visit Pennsylvania again this year, we saw that it was available and booked it, without looking at any other vacation homes.
