5th and Grand - Lovingly Restored Brownstone Troy NY Unit 1
Located at 1943 5th Avenue, in Troy, NY this lovingly restored brownstone was built in 1850. This property boasts a private courtyard complete with comfortable seating and lighting for nighttime enjoyment. Our game room offers board games for fun as well as a cabinet stocked with puzzles and playing cards - everything you need to unwind. The downstairs front room is perfect for relaxing with a book from our small alcove library.
Visiting for work? Take advantage of our workroom that contains plenty of areas for productivity and also, lamps complete with charging ports to keep you going.
Our walls are graced with the prints of famous British textile designer, William Morris as well as Troy’s own, John Emmett Connors. Mr. Connors’s iconic prints are spread throughout the unit and our downstairs living room coffee table has a book devoted to his work.
First floor common areas and amenities are available to all guests.
Unit 1 - The Lookout This second-floor 1 bedroom unit boasts a peaceful and spacious living space with original stained-glass bay windows. Comfortable seating in the bay window overlook creates the perfect morning coffee spot to watch the world go by. A well-equipped eat-in kitchen makes for easy and memorable mealtimes. Additional sleeping space on the convertible sectional in the living room accommodates 2. Access to a full laundry room makes any length of stay a comfortable one. Walkable to RPI, shops, restaurants and the Saturday Farmer’s Market, a stay at this historical gem puts the world at your doorstep.
