We enjoyed our stay at the property. The only issue we had was with one of neighbors who felt we encroached on their property and we inadvertently used one of their water boards. We put it back and didn’t touch it for the rest of our stay. The region has a lot to offer. In a way, it is like living in the past before corporate America took over the dining and retail stores. The wineries, parks, waterfalls, small towns were a nice change. This was our third trip to the Finger Lakes on our third different lake. It’s a nice destination for our family that we can do without flying to and from. We live on Lake Erie in Ohio and we appreciate the lake house experience.

Great place for a stay!

The house was huge and SO clean! Ample towels were provided, as well as kayaks and paddleboards for the lake. We really enjoyed our stay, and the host, Chris, sent us a detailed email about checking in and things to do in the area before our stay which we appreciate so much!

The house is a very short walk to the lake! We met Tim and he was very nice! It was a little hot in some of the bedrooms but it’s also the middle of July! Would stay there again!!

Spacious lakefront getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the Lakehouse. The house was very spacious, and everything we needed was included. Lots of space inside out outside to spread out. It was nice to have the use of Kayaks and fire pit down by the beach. Only negative was that it was a little hot at night in the spare bedrooms without air, but otherwise we loved it!

Pros: Large home. Spacious kitchen containing all amenities. Multiple local wineries nearby within a few minutes drive. 15 min drive from Seneca Falls. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, linens, and towels. Short walk to the lake. Cons: Master bedroom balcony door did not have a lock. Door to garage did not have a lock. Living room windows had no shades or curtains. Felt very exposed in the evening. This caused concern for safety and privacy. Flickering lights in dining room light fixture. This caused us to have to eat dinner in the dark because it was so bothersome. Electrical issue or ghosts? Either way, please look into this for the next guest. Advertised as lake front, but is actually lake view. AC units missing in some bedrooms. Definitely an issue if you are visiting in the late summer months.

Hi there, The Dining Room electric was looked into and it had no issue. I am not sure how to respond to the curtains, I stood in the house and looked and decided to keep it as is. The house is on the lake, it has 60' Lake Front property. That you wouldn't be able to see with curtains. The house is in a very safe area, I adjusted the lock, I never noticed them because when I am there, I don't lock anything. I feel sometimes when I am too accommodating answering so many emails, I should know a group will be hard to please.

Super friendly host!

Chris was an amazing host! They communicated well and were so friendly every time we spoke. The house was perfect for my wife, me and our dogs. We will definitely be back for future bookings!

Very Thoughtful

We loved our stay. The house was just right for our friends and us to hangout in. The lake is beautiful. Plenty to do in the area. Chris was very helpful and when he learned we were coming to be in the area for the eclipse he let us stay for the entire afternoon even though check out was at 10 AM since he didn't have a booking after us. I would highly recommend this property.

Great place for a getaway with friends

We managed to get together a group of long-time friends and had a great time in this beautiful location while we reminisced over old stories. The house was comfortable, the large kitchen made group cooking easy, and we had plenty of outdoor spaces to set up camp chairs and hang out. Having the firepit down at the lake shore, plus the picnic table, made for a beautiful and fun spot to be. All was good!

Birthday weekend

The house was absolutely gorgeous. Big open floor plan plenty of room for the eight of us that were there. The host was absolutely phenomenal as far as giving advice as to what was in the area along with knowledge of his house and even sent information prior to check-in. The check-in process was a breeze as we knew exactly what was going on before hand The house was immaculately clean, and you couldn’t ask for a more pleasant environment. I highly recommend you renting this place. You won’t be disappointed.

This property is nice and spacious - lots of room choices and nicely furnished. Anytime I sent any questions or comments to Chris, she was very responsive and helpful. We did have a pet along and the yard was very good for walking our dog and also easily accessible from the back door. I really appreciated the check in directions and detailed description of boundaries. I have stayed other places where things were unclear and it makes it very hard.
