Great Location. Walking distance from Huggo's to Kamahamaha Hotel on Ali'i Drive and all places between This condo had its own designated parking spot. Walk the town and not pay to park.

Great location but disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Third time we've stayed at this condo. Loved first two times but disappointed this stay. Our trip occurred during hurricane Lala. The mgmt company asked us to bring in all the Lanai furniture and accessories, which filled the living area. After hurricane, we put everything back, and then the AC stopped working due to slider being open (we think). We had several issues with AC while there. Mgmt company said they would send someone but never saw a tech. After hurricane, pretty humid and AC would not work so actually paid for a hotel night to get some sleep. Finally, found breaker in closet, reset and then AC worked. Dislike AC is shutoff when slider is open. I understand why but AC would not restart, even hours after slider was closed. Would love to stay in this area again but not with the AC issues and lack of resolution while there.

Aloha, and thank you for staying with us again. We’re sorry to hear that your third visit did not live up to your previous experiences, but we would like to clarify a few points regarding the A/C and our response during your stay. As part of our hurricane preparations, guests were asked to temporarily bring lanai furniture inside for safety. We understand this was inconvenient, but it was an important precaution given the approaching storm. Regarding the A/C, our team did offer assistance during your stay, which was declined at the time. We also personally went into the unit to investigate the reported issue and confirmed that the A/C was operating properly. As we explained, the system has a safety/energy-saving feature that automatically shuts the A/C off whenever the lanai sliders are left open. Once the doors are properly closed, the system can operate normally. We made multiple efforts to assist and went above and beyond to troubleshoot the concerns that were reported to us. Had we known you were considering leaving for a hotel because of the A/C, we absolutely would have appreciated another opportunity to assist before you incurred that expense. We genuinely appreciate that you chose to stay with us three times, and we're disappointed that this visit left you feeling differently. We always want our guests to reach out and allow us the opportunity to address any concerns while they are still at the property.

Vacationers going in and out every day - very busy.Views are very good. Stay there again - not sure. Location is the winner, that is about all. Building really old and not kept up overall. Wonderful locations.
