As part of the Trout Hills Condominiums nestled next to a winding lake, Condo #701 is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms condo, offering state-of-the-art amenities, the finest of furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen (with a double oven and icemaker), wireless internet access, digital music system, cable/satellite television, gas fireplace, dining room, keyless entry, private garage and an outdoor patio with a ceiling fan that walks out to the lake and to our outdoor fire pit.

The main living area features hard wood floors. Both bedrooms feature queen sized beds, walk-in closets, ceiling fans, and on-suite bathrooms. The unit is located one floor below the main level.

Great location (about 15 minutes from middle of the park). Lovely space with plenty of room and amenities. Very clean and well maintained. Beautiful views out the backdoor. Fall Creek Falls Friends Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The inside of the condo was exactly as pictured and immaculately clean. The outside hallway and porches could use use a good sweeping but nothing major. The fire pit out back was perfect and there was plenty of wood provided for us to use. Only one other unit in the property was rented during our stay so it was quiet and private. The wifi worked the first night but not the second. Not a big deal to us but may be for some. Also, the coffee pot could really stand to be replaced. The community amenities were not open (pool, general store, kayak rentals). Not sure if that's a seasonal thing or what. None of those things were super important to us so we loved our stay. The condo was very nice, large and comfortable, and the location was a short, beautiful drive to Fall Creek Falls. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Except for the bedrooms, there were no window curtains or drapes in the unit so it felt like we had no privacy in the living room and dining room. Everything else was great.

However it was further away from the parks and a little hard to find at first. Kitchen was equipped with everything you would need. We ate out every night as we got in too late to do any cooking etc. Couldn’t get the fireplace to work and there were several bugs(dead) in closets and around the doors. Beds/pillows were very comfy. Could use a door on the master bedroom bathroom.

They have internet but you most likely won't have cell service. Only gripe I have is that they don't provide actual coffee. They have a coffee maker and filters but you must bring your own. It's such a simple but small thing I feel like they should have put a warning in their list of amenities since most hotels and AirBNB type of venues do have coffee. As a coffee addict I nearly went insane when I discovered that there was no actual coffee in the beautiful condo. Would definitely recommend to friends still. The condo is furnished with a homey wood set of decorum that makes you think you're about to go hunting and or hiking.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice Clean Condo Peaceful. But No Cable. I do wish they had a simpler TV system. You have to be an engineer with NASA to get TV reception. Fire stick Hulu hook up laptop, go online etc. etc. Be sure to get groceries in Sparta or Cookeville. There are NO restaurants close by. They do have a Good grill at condo. PS. be prepared for a pretty extensive check out process. Self clean your condo. Run dishwasher, take out your own trash,leave towels in bathroom for inspection, inspection of linens. $ 50 a minute fee if late checkout. etc Place was nice. But owner is a bit too demanding. We came to avoid housework.

Reviewer Comments: With Fall Creek Falls State Park just minutes away, and wondrous scenery & enchanting woods in all directions from HRR, this area's capacity for picturesque exploration is almost overwhelming. The view from the condo patios over the deep emerald lake is alone worth a visit. Had a wonderful 4-day stay-- not remotely long enough to sample all the adventure and rugged beauty this part of the Cumberland Plateau has to offer! Will be back ASAP!

We were fortunate enough to be able to find accommodations at Highland Rim Retreats. It exceeded our expectations 10 times over! From the help we received from the property manager, to the location and serenity of the condo, to the amenities in the condo- we were blown away! I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy some quality time. We'll be back!

Very nice place

Very nice and clean. Little trouble getting in , but not bad. Loved the fire pit and nice to have a grill. But only a few grills and two fire pits for 6 condos. Would recommend.

Overall very happy!

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo! It was very clean and well equipped. What a wonderfully private location also! Was a little disappointed because we thought we could fish in the private lakes but there were signs that we could not and an owner was giving us some bad looks when we were walking around. We also thought we could use the swimming pool so that was a disappointment. We did fish a little bit in the lake next to the condo but it was hard to fish because of the woods.
