Loved the view of the river from the deck. So relaxing to sit on the swinging lounge and watch the river - a few boats now and then to look at too. The home itself was nicely appointed for a family, even though we only had the two of us full-time we did cook a family dinner with our son and his girlfriend who we were visiting. The the fully appointed kitchen made it easy.
Beautiful private location, with direct water access. Spent a long weekend with my parents and adult children. Something for everyone with a very relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely book again in the future.
The trip is was interesting with tropical storm so most of the time was at rental ..
Spent lots of time playing games and relaxing for our 15th anniversary...
Had flooding but host made us feel safe.
Perfect basecamp for paddles and biking at nearby Blue Clay Bike Park. Quiet neighborhood. Fantastic views of the river without any development on the other side—just nature. Short commute to great restaurants.
Very interesting Civil War history as the current neighborhood is built over the former Swann Plantation. Civil War graves abandoned in a nearby tree thicket.
House is nicely renovated. We appreciated the hot water on demand, coffee bar and rain shower. Super clean.
Also liked not having to haul our kayaks here. Be sure and check tides before you put in. Current can be very strong. Not for unsupervised kids! Easy put in on property.

Unfortunately, in our business, sometimes we get guests that just can’t be made happy. I would not recommend hosting Victoria Moriarty.
