We loved the house and how much room it had for my whole family. We especially loved the proximity to the beach and all the floats and beach toys the house provide.
Our group of 12 had a great time in the house for a week, none of us wanted to go home. The house had absolutely everything we needed. We did have one minor incident, but it was taken care of quickly and efficiently.
Great house to travel with friends and family. Plenty of room. Pool was a bonus but having the beach to yourself was amazing. Outdoor space was fantastic for breakfast and dinner. Interior was modern and comfortable. We would stay here again. 8 people in our party and everyone left happy.
The villa was exactly like the pictures online. Check in process was straightforward and the property manager was responsive. Privacy was a big plus and rotating between the pool, beach, and rooftop is all we needed. We enjoyed walking on the beach to Da Conch. Having paddle boards made it easy to explore the coast and see the marine life. Missing my time there already.
Beautiful home tucked behind a naturally landscaped private walkway right to the beach. Ocean views from the balconies and most rooms are incredible. Clean. Has everything needed for a full family luxury stay. Near some of the best snorkeling on the island. Long beautiful beach to walk along. The Conch shack a beach walk away. Incredible experience all around. Host and communications were easy.

Rooms were clean and all bedding was nice. The outdoor spaces were nice and as pictured. There were plenty of places to sit and hang out. The hut down at the beach and the paddle boards are falling apart. The path down to the beach needed to be cleaned up from broken glass, shells and nails. Inside the house was nice but definitely needs some maintenance and TLC. We also ran into some pests in the downstairs area and the Wi-Fi stopped working halfway through our stay. For our group of friends looking to party and have fun it was great but if you are looking for a beautiful pristine house for your family trip this is not the place.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify a few points.
The hut down by the beach that was mentioned is not part of the property, and unfortunately, we do not have the right to make repairs or alterations to it. Regarding the path to the beach, our team carefully inspects the entire property—inside and out—before every check-in, and during the inspection after and before this stay, no broken glass or nails were found. We are diligent about keeping all outdoor areas clean and safe for guests.
As for the paddle boards, they do show some normal wear from regular use, but are certainly not falling apart. We also have regular pest control treatments that take place on a monthly basis and take care to address any concerns.
With respect to the Wi-Fi, the issue occurred late on a Saturday night. Our team responded first thing the following morning and sent maintenance to assess the situation. The local internet provider was delayed in addressing, but the issue was resolved soon after. This is not a usual occurrence and was an unfortunate situation to have happened during your stay.
Any maintenance items that arise are always addressed promptly by our team to ensure the home remains in great condition. We truly appreciate your feedback and are glad you enjoyed the outdoor spaces and overall experience at the villa.
This was a big family vacation, ten of us, a trip we make to different beautiful places every other year. The communication with the owner/company was proactive, professional and clear throughout the process. Check-in and out was a breeze. The home is beautiful, albeit with several maintenance challenges; the view of the ocean is stunning, as is sunrise from the roof. The beach is long and beautiful, yet as with the house, a mixed bag. It's a very quiet neighborhood, with a visible security car making the rounds. A higher crime area is a bit further down the beach, yet a lot of local super-nice locals live there too. Da Conch Shack:)The house: comfortable rooms, views from all br's, well appointed and a kitchen with everything necessary. Including a good coffee maker! Unfortunately we were chasing various issues with the house, including an overflowing shower drain, a bathroom with only cold water, flickering lights throughout the home, etc. Odi, our contact, did her best to try to hire the various maintenance folks almost daily to resolve the issues. We made the best, but for 50k/week we expected better. The beach: so close to the house and a beautiful spot for an early morning swim, paddle, etc! Know there are occasionally broken glass and condoms to navigate as well as horse manure from 8-12 guided horses that traipse through shallow waters in front of the house 3-4x a day. So, our time was overall great yet there are things potential renters should be aware of.
This property is incredible. So clean! The crew does an amazing job. The pictures are accurate in showing you how beautiful the house and property are. Each of the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. There are actually 6 bathrooms. Plus a powder room. Everyone had their own bathroom as part of their suite. The kitchen was well equipped. The outdoor area is spectacular. Comfortable seating, an amazing pool, a large grill and a table for dining. There is a path to the beach, but Thompson Cove Beach isn’t great for swimming. Horse tours wade through the water several times a day. It is wonderful to walk on, especially since you can use it to walk to da Conch Shack which is a great spot to eat and on Wednesdays for music and a fire show. The location is private and safe. The best part is a wonderful property manager, Odi, who is so caring and responsive. She actually came out in a hurricane to bring us necessities for the house, at quite a risk to herself. She truly goes above and beyond. The whole family was comfortable and everyone loved the house. Such a special place.
Overall, our stay at Thompson Cove was great! The check in process was seamless due to Odi being so on top of everything. She was wonderful! When it comes to the house and amenities, it had everything that was expected and more! Don’t even worry about bringing floaties with you because they have plenty. The only issue we had came down to cleanliness. We encountered several instances of roaches/bugs throughout the house within the first couple of days of our stay. We also had problems with our plumbing in two separate showers, where the water was backing up out of the shower. Thankfully, I messaged Odi and she got it handled quickly! However, I do feel like the main reason for these issues was the quick turnover of the house from the people who left the morning we arrived… which I understand is out of the property manager and cleaning crews hands ultimately. Cleaning crew was still on site when we arrived around 4:30-5pm to check in - which we had no problem with whatsoever, we didn’t mind. I just wish maybe they would allow for one day in between bookings to ensure their team has time to thoroughly clean the house before the next stay! But again, overall - location (walkable to Da Conch, short drive to Smith’s Reef, Sopadilla Bay, Rockhouse), the private beach, pool, everything else was great! It was a wonderful first visit to TCI and we’ll definitely be back.
