Enjoy the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains where you can experience peace and relaxation in our alpine getaway on an acre of forested hillside with fabulous mountain views. Enjoy the huge deck with lots of sitting areas to view wildlife and mountain landscapes. We are conveniently located between Denver and most major ski resorts. This wonderful destination allows you to escape the city and relax in the picturesque foothills of Evergreen.
The space
Our neighborhood is located on an improved dirt mountain road and may require 4WD or AWD during inclement weather. We have a steep, narrow driveway, but plenty of room in the parking area. Enter the space next to the right by the log fence and go down the flight of curved stairs to the lower level. Walk across the lower deck where you can access the walkout basement apartment through the portico with glass door, next to the carved tree.

Use keypad to enter into large bedroom with one king size bed and one twin daybed with a pullout twin trundle (total of two twin beds). Large closet area, curtain room divider, private bathroom with tub/ shower. Big screen smart TV with Firestick, wall heater/ faux fireplace, electric baseboard heater with thermostat. Portable fans, room divider for privacy or to block sunlight.

Open barn door to hallway where you'll pass a private storage and community laundry room leading to the main living space. Here, you can relax on the large L-shaped couch for lounging, big screen smart TV, dartboard, various puzzles and games, DVD, VHS, CDs for your entertainment. Electric pellet stove/ fireplace and electric baseboard heater. Sliding glass doors leading outside to lower deck and BBQ, second sliding door leading out to jacuzzi hot tub.

Office area includes desk with chair, Wi-Fi printer and a shredder. There are maps and information for local hiking, dining and shopping along with our guest book. Dining table seats four leading to Kitchen with refrigerator/ freezer, microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, coffee beans, cookware, dinnerware, utensils, glasses, mugs. We supply condiments and snack bars and some comfort foods.

Outdoor patio with furniture including Adirondack chairs with table, rockers, bistro table with chairs, hammock (in summer), double swing chair, outdoor heater and gas BBQ.

Your space includes downstairs deck, jacuzzi hot tub, large bedroom with one king bed and one twin bed with pull out twin trundle bed (two twin beds), bathroom with tub/shower, community laundry room, living room, office area, dining area, and kitchen.
Other things to note
GPS and wireless service can be spotty at times. Printed directions may be helpful. There are no food delivery services available in this area. Consider getting groceries and supplies prior to arriving. We do not have a snow plow on property and cannot guarantee a plow during your stay if a snowstorm occurs.
