The property is conveniently nearby the Gainesville Airport, Ward’s Supermarket, the Auk Market, Shopping Centers, and Shands. Newly renovated 1946 cottage located on half an acre lot within the North Stephen Foster neighborhood. The 1308 sqft house is set away from the road offering plenty of privacy including a large back patio with an outdoor dining space and charcoal grill.

The interiors boast beautifully designed furnishings to create a welcoming space for gatherings amongst family and friends. The property offers the newest amenities with all the upgrades including a restored electric vintage fireplace.

The newly remodeled modern kitchen is fully equipped for cooking your favorite meals or you can grill outside on the patio for the game day. The yard is spacious and calming with plenty of room everyone!

All three bedrooms are on the 2nd floor so climbing stairs is required. Please park in front yard closest to the house.

The property can only accommodate (8) people max for an overnight stay. If guests want to host a gathering; we have a (15) person maximum at all times. Please Note: Any special gatherings need to be approved by host with an additional fee. Thank you.

The neighborhood is secluded and quiet featuring the classic old Florida historic charm. The neighbors are friendly and keep to themselves. The streets are lined with traditional ranch style houses each with their own quirky aesthetics. The neighborhood is truly unique and one of a kind. No cookie-cutter suburban vibes here!

The property is located in North West Gainesville within the Stephen Foster neighborhood. It’s conveniently nearby the Gainesville Airport and the famous Ward’s Supermarket, the Auk Market, and close to Lowes on 13th & 23rd.

The location is only 4 miles from UF Shands, and not far from all the amenities Gainesville has to offer; including 2.5 miles to Ironwood Golf Course and 4 miles to H Spurgeon Cherry Westside Pool and Water Park!

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We have a (15) person maximum at all times on the property with a maximum of (8) people staying overnight. Comfortably sleeps (6) adults.
All special event gatherings need prior approval by host with an additional $250 event fee.
NO smoking inside or near entryways; if smell of smoke is noticed and/or cigarette butts are found there is a $500 fine charged to guests.

Wonderful place to stay.

Wonderful quick visit to Gainesville

This house was perfect for our small group visiting for the night for a wedding. The home was very clean. The host was excellent and communication. There was a grocery store less than a mile away and just a few miles from all the spots in downtown Gainesville. Plenty of parking.

Practical solution

Perfectly serviceable house. Conveniently located. Good parking. Good neighborhood. Comfortable beds. We appreciated the outdoor table and sitting areas as well as the washer dryer which I used to freshen some of the provided towels. Shampoo conditioner and detergent was provided. The communication was friendly and good. Depending on preferences this could be a plus or minus: It was a cool week and we had a little trouble regulating the temperature upstairs resulting in a cold room (master) and warm rooms (other two) depending on which side if the hall you were on.

Great Property & Close to everything!

We had a great stay hear at this quiet oasis. The location was amazing for those who want more privacy but also want to me close to UF. Me and my family had a great time with our pets as well. There was so much space for them to run around. We only had issues with the cleanliness of the house, the floors were super dirty and we only noticed because we had wiped the floor from some crumbs that were spilled. The master bathroom was clogged and it didn’t seem like any surfaces were wiped down such as the nightstands. Overall such a beautiful home and great for a big family. The host was amazing and super helpful since the day we booked. She had a super fast response and always looked out for us. We can’t wait to be back soon!

This quaint cottage was built in 1946 and rich in history. Our favorite feature is the restored original vintage fireplace! We updated it to an electric fireplace to make it safer for families with children.
