Whispering Pines is a peaceful 2BR/2BA cabin nestled in the woods, minutes from Mohican and Snow Trails. Inside, enjoy a cozy living space with fireplace and leather seating, full kitchen, and high-speed WiFi. The primary suite features a luxurious four-poster bed, soaking tub, and tiled shower. A second queen bedroom and adjacent full bath make it ideal for families or couples. Outside, relax in the hot tub, dine on the covered deck, or gather around the fire pit under the stars. Pets welcome.

We do not live on site but we are nearby and are available if needed.

Whispering Pines sits on 5 beautifully wooded acres, offering the peace of a rural retreat just minutes from downtown Loudonville.
This charming town is packed with things to do—browse local boutiques, grab a bite to eat, or head out for adventure with canoeing, go-karts, mini golf, and an aerial park all nearby.
Looking for more? Mohican State Park, Malabar Farm, Snow Trails, and Amish Country are all just a scenic drive away—perfect for unforgettable day trips!

While Whispering Pines is just a short distance off a state route, please note that the driveway is gravel and has a moderate incline.

From December 1st through April 1st, we strongly recommend that guests use a vehicle with four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) to ensure safe and reliable access—especially during snow, ice, or other winter weather conditions.

Step into Whispering Pines, our cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin, and feel the warmth of rustic charm from the moment you arrive. The fully equipped eat-in kitchen flows seamlessly into a comfortable living area, complete with a stone fireplace that sets the scene for perfect cabin vibes.
Outside, enjoy the covered outdoor living space, fire pit, and a relaxing hot tub—ideal for unwinding in any season. Year after year, guests return to Whispering Pines to unplug, recharge, and reconnect with nature—and with the people who matter most.


This is a rural property. We are within easy driving distance from Mohican State Park, Malabar Farm, Snow Trails Ski Lodge, Amish country, and more.

We’re happy to welcome up to two dogs—just let us know in advance that they’ll be joining you!

Firewood is not provided, but there’s a convenient roadside stand just around the corner from the Mohican Pines cabins. It’s self-serve and always stocked. The address is 2318 State Route 97 (also known as Cleveland Street), and the contact number is 419-632-4278.

Whispering Pines getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines. Peaceful and quiet escape for a few days with our two dogs. Host was good at staying in touch and making sure we were having a good time.

Great Weekend in Mohican!

Jodi and Jason were amazing hosts! The cabin was clean and modern and had all the amenities you could want for a cozy and outdoorsy trip! The power even went out one day due to the weather and Jodi and Jason were very quick to respond and even brought us water, a flashlight and another propane tank! Definitely recommend staying here or one of their other properties!

A WONDERFUL EXPERIANCE. HAD NEVER DONE ANYTHING LIKE THIS BUT WAS PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. WENT TO UNWIND AND CELEBRATE ANNIVERSARY AND COULDN'T HAVE FOUND A BETTER PLACE. VERY CLEAN. Perfect escape under the stars

Thoroughly enjoyed this private gem on a quiet country road central to Mohican, Loudonville, Amish country, Mt Vernon, Pleasant Hill Lake, biking and hiking trails, Malabar Farms, etc. Before sleeping in comfort, unwind in the hot tub under the stars, cming out prepare for another day in peace and nature. Don't let the 900 sq feet label deter you; it's packed with all you need and want in a well-decorated and decorated comfortable home! You'll love this place, the A hosts and all Whispering pInes offers. We'll be back & bring friends!

Nice place has everything you need in the kitchen. Hot tub is awesome. Had a problem where the hot tub went into economy mode and wouldn’t heat up. Emailed owners and they responded very quickly with a fix to the problem. Great place will definitely be back.

Perfect place to relax

We enjoyed our long weekend celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary. I had planned to cook every meal there since I have some dietary restrictions and was able to with no issues. We ate mostly outside even with all the rain. We relaxed in the hot tub and by the fire pit. Couches were cozy. Master bedroom is larger than expected. King sized bed was huge. We saw a few deer and even a turkey with her babies visited. We didn't have to leave at all other than to pick up some firewood which was pretty close. Overall this was a fantastic cabin and a great location for us. Thank you!

Wonderful

Excellent, cozy, peaceful place to stay. We enjoyed every minute. We made good use of the outdoor space, the firepit, the hot tub, and the grill. It's in a peaceful wooded setting, but very close and convenient to neighboring towns. Book this place- you will not be disappointed!

Super cute cabin. Semi-private overall (can see the road but not sure how much can be seen from the road). Hot tub and burn pit with outdoor lighting very cozy. Short distance to walking trails and parks. We had a great stay. Pet friendly.

Annual friends get away

Coming off of my worst check-in process ever in Hocking Hills to this wonderful place, it was shock was a refreshing change. From the moment we arrived and I saw a heart-shaped Rock outside the door greeting us, I knew I had picked the right place. The hosts thought of everything down to sound machines by the beds and a welcome bag for my dog Louie. We felt like we were out in the middle of nature and I haven't felt that level of peace in the past 3 years since losing my youngest son, Josh. I can't thank them enough for their beautiful place and look forward to returning not only to that cozy cabin of solitude but your other properties as well. I couldn't recommend this more highly!!!! Worth every penny! Only wish we stayed more than 2 nights. We weren't ready to leave!!

Perfect Cabin

Jason and Jodi created a perfect first trip for my fiancée and I. Communication with host was easy and effortless. Jodi was always quick to respond to questions and extremely helpful in making the trip work for us. Cabin was spotless and obviously well thought out. Perfect for a couples getaway. Location was quiet and close to Mohican perfect for hiking. Would 100% recommend.

Great Stay at Whispering Pines!

My family and I rented the Whispering Pines cabin with our dog Rocco. It was a Spring Break trip. Although the weather wasn't Spring like - it was a wonderful stay. The cabin has EVERYTHING you'd need, appliances are newer and work perfectly (not something you get with every rental!), beds were beyond comfortable. We want to come back in the summer to really enjoy the outdoor spaces. The deck with the fan, overlooking the pond across the street would be fantastic in the mornings and evenings. Firepit with overhanging lights A . Highly recommend you take a short drive and check out Landolls Castle. Not only a cool sight, great little restaurant there as well. Overall - just a fantastic stay. Hosts were extremely communicative.

Amazing trip

We booked this beautiful cabin for my Moms 60th birthday get away, and literally fell in love as soon as we got there! It was the perfect spot for all of us, including my little dog. The host is amazing at responding and checking in! We would love to come back.

Perfect Cabin

Perfect place to spend a nice weekend with the family. Outdoor area was amazing with the hot tub and fire pit. House was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy some good quality family time. Being able to take our two dogs was a plus and they enjoyed, the outdoor space as much as we did. Would highly recommend! Thanks for some great memories!

Great place for a friends getaway

This place is close to the snow trails and provided the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing weekend getaway with friends. Jodi was very responsive and hospitable. The entire property is maintained well and you can tell how much they care for this place. Watching the stars by the fire and the hot tub made our nights memorable. Would highly recommend staying here .

Perfect getaway place!

We had a great girls getaway weekend at Whispering Pines! We were able to take advantage of the fire pit, the hot tub, and updated cabin that had comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen that had everything we needed to cook up breakfast, lunch and dinner. We fit in a hike and a visit to Loudonville to shop at the cute boutiques. We’re hoping to make this an annual trip and would love to come back again.

Family get away

Had a great time- brought our dogs and our 10 year old. House was cozy and clean- hot tub was a hit! Jodi even gave us a heads up for a plan in case of tornados- very thoughtful. :)
