The house was very comfortable. Nice kitchen and lots of towels. The tv was difficult to use but we finally figured it out the last day! There was a nice welcome gift of dish soap, garbage bag, etc. Enjoyed our stay as the weather was beautiful! Would stay here again! The master bathroom sink drained real slow and the furniture could be updated but other than that, everything was perfect!

Great get away
This is a great place. It has been newly redone and it was remodeled very well. We had everything we needed. The porch was fantastic, there is a beautiful view of the mountains.
The house was clean and nice and comfortable. There were no surprises and it was what we expected from the description and photos. The owner was friendly and provided great customer service.
It's tucked away and private, but close to everything. It was a quick drive to downtown.
We had a relaxing few days and would stay here again. I would recommend this house to others.

House is excellent, but missing the small things
House was nice with a cool front deck view. Owner and rental agency was pleasant to deal with. They even had a snow plow lined up in case of snow! We enjoyed most everything about our stay. However, there were the small things that were missing. The rental had no salt/pepper shakers, no paper towels, no firewood stocked, ice maker did not work when turned on, no extra trash bags, an outdated tube TV, etc. While none of these things are necessities, I feel that they would have been nice-to-haves. We all enjoyed the rental, just felt that it was missing the small things that can make an out of town trip more convenient.
Plenty of room, well stocked kitchen, close to ski area. Lovely setting and plenty of parking. Sunday check outs a bit tricky due to all waste disposal stations being closed so we had to take last bag of garbage with us. Good communication with owner.
Very nice roomy place . Unfortunately rained everyday of our stay but we went to Bryson city for a train ride where it was sunny. My 3 sisters and I still enjoyed quality time together with lots of laughs.
Deciding to take a family girl’s trip to see the beautiful fall leaves was great but apparently everyone else had the same idea. All of the places we’ve stayed at before were booked so we had to do some searching. We narrowed them down and all agreed on Red Oak Lodge. Nice neighborhood, beautiful foliage & mountain view from the front porch, very clean & furnished with everything you need for a great vacation stay. We didn’t want to leave and will visit again. Thank you to the owner for being so accommodating and sharing this lovely place.
Steep driveway but parking for 3 cars without any issues. Nice view from front deck. This home was nothing lavish but had all the necessities and was very clean. Would stay again.
Very comfortable and clean house. Well equipped kitchen too. Convenient location. Enjoyed relaxing on the porch and listening to the stream at the side of the property. Pictures aren't as flattering as the real thing! Would stay again.
We were so thankful to find a clean, comfortable cabin for our summer escape. The cabin was easy to get to and to get in. We maneuvered the driveway easily. The kitchen was well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The owner and the property manager were responsive. The instructions for the cabin were clear and concise. We spent most of our time during the day hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway and looking for waterfall in Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We would love to return.
Property as described. Smooth transaction from start to finish.

Nice mountain retreat
This house worked out well for me and my friends for a mountain golf weekend. The location is great - close to downtown Waynesville, which is so cute and has great restaurants. It is also close to the casino and downtown Cherokee. The welcome greeting from the next-door neighbor's dogs was the cutest thing! The owner was extremely responsive to questions, and quickly refunded my security deposit - thanks Dwaine!

Perfect for small gatherings. Great location.
We stayed for three nights and had plenty of room for the seven of us. We were able to have another group come over for a birthday party and there was enough space and seating for everyone. Beds were comfortable and the wood burning fireplace was an added bonus. Located near Waynesville for grocery shopping and near downtown Maggie for all the sights.

Beautiful and comfortable home. We loved our stay there.
There were two couples and one infant during our stay at this house. It was perfect for our needs. There is a lot of shade that makes sitting on the big front porch very nice. The house is well stocked and had all the comforts of home. We cooked most meals at the house and had everything we needed. It is in a quiet in a beautiful setting. It is very convenient to Maggie Valley. The owner and property manager were very responsive to any questions we had. The furnishings were comfortable and very nice. I would definitely recommend this property rental and will stay here again if I need this much room.
