Lovely place to stay. Extensive, dog-friendly grounds, where we saw deer in the twilight. Kitchen is well-equipped, the bed in the primary suite is comfortable and there is a large, walk in shower. The living room is equipped with 2 comfortable sofas. Its well placed for visiting the New Forest.
Anne and Mike made our short stay cosy, extremely comfortable we did not want to leave. The Barn has everything and more that you could possible need, everything was beautifully clean and so welcoming. Would definitely recommend to family and friend's. The grounds are so natural and well kept must be stunning in the spring and summer.
We actually didn't see the host, or have a mobile number to contact incase of any problems just email. But the Barn was lovely, we had a welcome pack and Christmas decorations were in place. The whole Barn was well set out and the beds were amazing. I highly recommend a stay here.

This is one of those rare properties that you almost don't want to review - in case the secret gets out! Really enjoyed our stay here - so much that we've already booked a longer stay for next year.It is as described - a tranquil setting in 14 acres of it's own land - lovely for us and especially for the dog.The spacious premises are well appointed and the barn has a nice 'warm' feel to it

It was a pleasure to have you all here and so pleased you were able to have a relaxing time
This converted barn in Faldingham is situated in the most beautiful peaceful grounds. The accommodation is very welcoming and extremely stylish with everything you could want and more. The host Anne was most helpful and a very generous welcome pack was waiting for us. The rooms were spotless and we are already planning our return
We were a group of 6 adults and 4 dogs with an age range of 60 -82. The house is perfect if you have mobility issues. The location is perfect if you have dogs and the house had everything we required for cooking. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thank you
My husband and I wanted a relaxing weekend away and this property was the perfect place!
It was so quiet and peaceful.
Located on the beautiful grounds of the owners property, you can also go for a lovely walk should you wish.
The barn was lovely and clean, you can see that great care has been taken to make this place as inviting as it is.
The log burner was an added bonus and made the large open living area lovely and cosy!
There was even some little treats (as well as essentials) on our arrival.
Thank you Anne and Mike for our wonderful stay, we will definitely be back.

Thank you - we look forward to seeing you again Hayley and Kerry - it was pleasure to have you here
Wow! What a beautiful barn this is! The high ceilings make it cool and the furniture and fittings are to a very high standard. Very comfy beds and wonderful en-suite shower. Everything provided that you may need in the kitchen… super clean oven and plenty of mugs, plates, cutlery etc. We enjoyed exploring the grounds … and particularly enjoyed spotting rabbits and on 3 occasions a wild deer. Relaxing by the stream was a treat. Very quiet area which is what we wanted. Lovely hosts who gave excellent instructions prior to our visit. They have 3 gorgeous dogs who visited us bringing gifts of leaves and sticks ! We highly recommend The Barn Studio and will return hopefully one day.

We have just spent 2 nights at the barn. The rooms are extremely spacious and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us which included 4 adults and two children.
One bedroom had an en-suite bathroom with fabulous shower and the other two bedrooms shared a bathroom.
The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need and if you want to use the bbq it’s right outside the door.
We went to the Italian restaurant in town which I can recommend.
There are a couple of bakers, a butchers plus a large co-op and Tesco Express in Fordingbridge and also a couple of pubs.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
We stayed in this lovely barn to have a very belated Christmas with friends who live nearby. The barn is very comfortable, warm and cozy. However the kitchen does not do the rest of the property justice. It is dated with a worn cooker and a tiny built-in fridge that is in poor condition. One tea bag and no sugar, not promised but after a long drive it was lucky we had our own. Biscuits and croissants were left though and were lovely. The grounds are run down and we saw no play equipment - however that could be seasonal?A main gripe is that stating that dogs are welcome, on arrival we found that dogs should not be in the bedrooms. Our 16 yr old has always slept in ours and as he doesn’t see or hear well he wasn’t about to be abandoned in a strange place! He slept on his bedding in my room. This needs to be changed in the main description. We cleaned even though there is a cleaning charge and a charge for dogs.As lovely as the property and surrounds are I doubt we’ll be back.

Well - are you sure you were staying at The Barn Studio? I think a few points need to be addressed as you are giving the wrong impression to other guests. The fridge is an integrated larder fridge of standard size - the oven and hob are both gas and by no means ancient. We request dogs do not go in bedrooms as we have on numerous occasions had dirty marks left on carpets and we have to consider our guests without dogs. You didn’t pay for your dog to come as you didn’t put it on the booking form! The grounds have just gone through a winter and in no way do we neglect them - they are feature of the property and we take great pride in them - but obviously with the cold and rain they have gone through of course they have not been attended to - as you say seasonal. Some play equipment is stored in the box on the terrace - you only needed to ask. As there were only 2 of you staying at the barn we didn’t deem it necessary. - but if you had asked we would have pointed you in the right direction. Finally we do not expect you to clean the barn - that is why VRBO put a cleaning charge on. Pleased you enjoyed the croissants
